About Curly Kale Cafe

Blake, Sam & Team CKC take over kitchens around the city to create the best veggie food in Cambridge.

Curly Kale Cafe Description

Curly Kale Cafe is an ethically minded small food business. It was born out of the desire to bring a better standard of vegan food to Cambridge. Started in early 2014 by Jennie Debenham (Liberated Feast) & Sam Dyer (previously Mouth Music), then later joined by Blake Vickers, Curly Kale Cafe has gone on to become a very popular 'pop up’ food project.

The main chef’s and business owners Blake & Sam believe high quality local British produce (and organic where possible) is key. Sustainable food is important to us, as is supporting our East Anglian farmers. By using what is seasonal we try to get the best flavour out of our food, and this can make for some really creative dishes at certain times of the year! Whilst we like to cook a whole range of styles, British and Italian cuisine is always present.

With a floating team of talented staff and volunteers we run regular pop up events, as well as taking on a variety of catering work, but no matter what we do we cook from the heart. This is what makes it special and our aim is to give customers happy bellies…we even make carnivores smile!
