Currys Pc World Featuring Carphone Warehouse

Hi very helpful staff.

ON 23RD of October I visited the Dunfermline branch of Currys to purchase a new fridge and freezer and microwave I had previously looked online for relevent makes, models prices etc. Online it stated FREE DELIVERY. ON entering the store I was seen by a very nice able young man who took my order at the Sales desk. Just before he completed the transaction another member of staff Interupted and then proceeded to take over and complete the order.

This lady kept on calling me MADAM in a very con descending tone ... which was very unprofessional. I knew what I wanted, I did not want insurance, she askrd me on more than one occasion whether I wanted insurance and I had to repeat that I did not! She did not mention installation of said goods...

I wanted FREE DELIVERY as advertised but what a HASSLE! Eventually the assistant did tell me a day which was FREE or I would have had to pay an additional fee of £20 for each item... omg..

I am a pensioner, but that does not mean that I am unable to know my own mind... this assistant was unprofessional, not customer friendly.
There is no choice in the Dunfermline area, so Currys is the only option or else I would have left the shop and gone elsewhere.

Only go here because it's the only electrical shop around. About half what I've bought here had to go back as it was broken and staff will argue and blame you. Took my money for a washing machine once and didn't have it in stock, left us standing waiting then only when I asked admitted they didn't have it and took 20 minutes to refund me making my partner late for her work. The manager threatened me saying I was abusive when I raised my voice asking them to hurry up and give me my money back. I was not abusive just understandably annoyed. Avoid if you can. Went to Kirkcaldy Curry's and they were very nice, helpful and quick.

Staff are always happy to help. Friendly and reliable.

For all household appliances at a reasonable and affordable cost to the customer it is hard to better curry's PC world. Also the friendly and helpful advice from the staff make it a worthwhile experience to purchase your household appliances here .

Standard Currys/PC world/CPW - pick one & be one rather than 3 mediocre

Popped into to buy mobile phone related stuff. Assistant very helpful on the sales. However, when I returned the next day with the 'EE' mobile internet device they were not interested. Citing the fact it was to do with the "Internet". They ignored their duty to me as the seller of the equipment.Will not be making further purchases from this store.
