Over 50, overweight, post-menopause and despise all exercise except dancing. Options? Go to a gym - shoot me now. Go on a serious diet - shoot me now. Check out Curves? RESULT. Any place that does not ALLOW me to do more than 30 minutes of exercise at a time is fine by me. Also, the fact that one is changing machines every 30 seconds means that it doesn't feel like "working out at the gym". In addition the staff are all great but I have to single out Anna for her complete lunatic, insane awesomeness. So for those of us who don't want to but HAVE to exercise, Curves is definitely what's happening!

Great gym. Staff are very friendly, helpful, supportive and make workouts fun. They all supported me a lot through my pregnancy and helped me keep working out til 38 weeks and have been helping me get back on track with workouts since I returned after giving birth. Exercises were modified for me during pregnancy and since with my back pain, which is a great personal service. 30 mins very well spent every time! My mum Maureen Wright has recently joined too & is loving it so far too. Keep up the good work ladies 😊Xx
