Went there as a party of four for dinner. Most of us went there for the first time and were really impressed! I chose to go with the Market Menu as it's great value. Can't fault any of the courses I had - Carrot & Coriander soup and Chicken Kiev both were delicious. And I suggest trying honeycomb ice cream! Plating was lovely and made the dishes more special, not to mention the actual venue, which is stunning. It seemed rather busy, but we didn't really have any issues as service was quite speedy. The staff were friendly, too. We all enjoyed the dinner and will be going back!

We were there on sat night.... party of 30 people for a 60th birthday celebration.... I must say the food was absolutely fantastic n very prompt.... starters were very well served n great sized portions... onto the steaks they were cooked to perfection.... everyone in our party agreed.... then the desserts each n every one were to die for, I tried them all(greedy lol ) ... I’m all for presentation on my plate n the kitchen staff excelled my expectations on this place... although the service for drinks where a little slow and as a party of 30 we were spendin a lot of money to have to try grab attention from bar staff to order a drink and then wait maybe 20-25 to receive the drink that was a little disappointing... but it won’t put me off on returning again as the food was outstanding.... wee bit of training and guidance from the on shift manager which was clearly lacking as we were never asked if everything was ok or if we needed anything to our requirements... experienced staff makes a difference in a place in my opinion and if they can up their game the cut will be the place to be in bothwell by far....one of our party members were late due to work circumstances and the head chef personally brought the meal out for her.... was nice wee touch to the place.

User

We paid our first visit to this restaurant today for my husbands birthday & it was delicious & didn't disappoint us!

We had steaks which were cooked perfectly & we (myself, my husband & my daughter) thoroughly enjoyed them! My 8 year old son had freshly made fish fingers & they looked lovely too.

The desserts were to die for too - displayed lovely & tasty!

Staff were friendly, attentive and welcoming. The restaurant is decorated lovely & has a nice ambience to it.

Highly recommend a visit to this restaurant - good value for money for what is presented & well worth a visit!

User

Visited for the first time last night. We arrived earlier so had a couple of cocktails in the bar, wish the weather was better because the terrace area looks lovely. Staff were very attentive and the tomahawk steak (medium rare of course) was one of the best i have ever had. Really can't wait to visit again.

User

Visited Cut today after wanting to visit since it opened and we were not disappointed. Both my husband and I enjoyed our lunch from the special market menu and cannot wait to return and enjoy a meal from the a la carte menu. Very relaxing atmosphere and lovely staff helped make our afternoon a very enjoyable one.

User

Really nice visit to Cut tonight. Place looks great, warm welcome and like the new bar layout. Lovely evening, sun shining so sat out at the terrace with a few drinks before our table was ready, really nice, lots of seats and relaxed atmosphere. Service was great and attentive, never rushed and well looked after. Food was excellent - starters well presented and tasty, steak was excellent. Fillets, two T-Bones and shared Porterhouse, all cooked to perfection and a couple of sweets which didn’t last long for those who had them. Reasonable bill for a table of 7 as well. Worth a visit and will definitely be back.

User

Lovely wee dinner date with my husband, we both had chargrilled king prawns to start with, which were delicious and a fillet steak cooked to perfection. Make sure you treat yourself to a cocktail or two, the porn star martini was yummy. also want to mention the staff that served us, Cara, cerras, and Gabriel. All very attentive and friendly. Can’t wait to come back. X

User

From start to finish, this place is amazing! The staff were very attentive and our service was excellent! Highly recommend for both the food and cocktails, everything was perfect! The outside area on the patio was lush on a sunny day will 100% be back.

User

Fantastic evening for my wifes birthday.

Place is looking amazing with alot of attention to detail.

Food was great four different starters and mains all got the thumbs up.

We went into the the bar after our meal and again it looks great. Was a good crowd in but table service made it a very relaxing experience.

Family of four three adults and five year old. We booked table for 530 and arrived just about that time was taken to table straight away. We were asked if we would like a drink. My husband asked for magners but they didn't stock it. He asked what cider they had and couldnt make out what waiter said and opted dor lager. I asked for a frozen strawberry daqueri. Which was just crushed ice and not frozen. Still enjoyed it.

Didn't wait long for menue. We all had starters from chicken wings to pate which was delicious.

Steak time hubby and I went for the fillet which was cooked to perfection. My son had tbone he said it was fantastic garlic mushrooms and side salad to go with it. We guy had cheesy garlic bread and fish fingers for main the biggest fish fingers I have ever seen. He cleared his plate and had cookie and ice cream. The waiter told us before that the cookie took about eight minutes to bake if that was ok. Hubby had strawberry cheese cake with some strawberry. Over all food was fantastic, bit expensive to go every week. Birthday treat. But we will be back at some point.

User

Excellent food, service and staff. Food cooked and delivered with passion and thought. Very comfortable seating and great ambiance. 2nd visit and suspect this will be one of our regular haunts.

A special mention to Bunty who goes all out to ensure a great experience.

User

Enjoyed this venue and would struggle to fault it even on a warm and busy day when I visited, plenty of outdoor space and seemed better than the neighbouring venue as it didn’t just overlook a car park. Service was prompt with pleasant conversation, my friend commented on the cleanliness of both the outdoor space and the interior as well as importantly the toilets. Food was served promptly and we opted for the sharing fish platter followed by steaks which where cooked exactly as asked for. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this venue to others and not being local I am planning to make the journey out to your venue again.

User

Definitely my new favourite restaurant! The steaks are always perfect and I’d definitely recommend trying the sides, the fried broccoli is one of my favourites. I have visited a couple of times during the week and the market menu is also great value, and the staff are very friendly and happy to help, can’t wait to go back!

User

A huge thank you to everyone a Cut who was in on our surprise pregnancy AND gender announcement! It was a perfect day and the function suite was exactly right for what we needed. Bunty and the staff done a great job of keeping our secret as our guest arrived. Everyone commented on how amazing the food was (something we already knew!).

Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you guys!

Family night out, five of us for dinner. Nice to be welcomed at the door by Bunty and staff and were sat at table straight away and drinks order taken. Starters were very nice. I love oysters and they were lovely, well prepared, scallops were a better portion/size than last time we went. Steaks took a wee while to come (we were told to expect approx 45 mins) as we had ordered sharing steaks such as tomahawks and chateaubriands etc and the were cooked just right with a variety of sauces. Wine wise we had the sauvignon which was not to dry or sweet and a lovely rich rioja. Couple of cocktails and off home, great night had by all.

User

This is my first time at the restaurant was slightly disappointed! The starter was nice small but nice the staff were friendly but slow with drinks and the roast was ok it came out cold so they brought out hot meat and Yorkshire pudding but they took they’re time with the vegetables so only had the meat and veg which was nice but I wanted a full roast the staff are friendly but the service needs to change they need to be more alert it’s crazy waiting 20 minutes for 3 orange juices and then waiting for veg when it should come the same time all hot

Well where do I start! My partner had been nagging me for a good 4/5 weeks about trying here because it looked amazing. So yesterday I phoned up to book a table for 7.15 and she was super excited. We’ve not been out for food in a while so this was the perfect venue I could have chose because she really wanted to try it. We got in at roughly 7.05 and after waiting at the door very awkwardly for about 3/4 minutes we were eventually ushered into the bar area to wait on our table. After purchasing 2 drinks a young lady came outside and told us our table was ready at about 7.25 We got to the table at the far corner as you walk through the door to the left. After browsing the menu for about 5 mins we decided what we wanted and sat there waiting on someone to take our order. A good 30/35 minutes passed and we were starting to get very agitated as no one had even took a drinks order. After another 5 mins or so we eventually got someone’s attention and asked if we could place our order. My partner asked for her starter and main only to be told that it wasn’t available and that hardly anything on the menu was available! The only thing left to order was ‘ haggis neeps and tatties and soup ‘ for starter and ‘ fish and chips and mac and cheese ‘ for mains no one told us of this when we sat down because if that was the case we would have left, which we soon did after. When the girl came back to ask if we seen anything else we told her that we were disappointed and we were going to leave and she didn’t even batter an eyelid, as if she couldn’t care less. Not only was I disappointed, I felt embarrassed and so did my partner, aswell as starving! With the time being way past 8pm most restaurants had already stopped serving food and we had to get a taxi to Asda to buy something to cook at home. Not very romantic considering this was our 1st date night in months. Very disappointed in the service and I probably won’t be back ever again!!

User

Was in there a couple of Saturdays ago with some work mates, l noticed straight away that the manager and some staff were from the lndian Manor. We were shown to our seats and then waited ages for a member of staff to take our drinks order, when we eventually got our drinks we had to ask for a menu which also took a while to arrive, eventually we had to shout at a waitress to get her attention so we could order our food which " you guessed it to forever to arrive " we all ordered a starter and a steak each the starters were tiny and not worth the jumped up prices, but the best was yet to come, l ordered a sirloin steak and l asked the waitress to make sure it was "well done" no pink meat, so eventully after an eternity we got our steaks which looked good but as soon as l cut into it i was pink and bloody so l called the manager over who appologised and ordered me another which once it arrived my friends were already finished, and guess what ,yes you guessed it pink and bloody, l called the manager who again appologised and offered another steak, this time l refused, if a chef in a steak house cant cook a steak, l think they should stick to currys the cooked when it was the lndian Manor.l will never go back. There are better restaurants in Bothwell and Uddingston.

Not impressed this visit, been before & everything was great but very disappointed when we were there last Saturday night. No mussels available, service very slow, staff amateurish, asked for salt & black pepper - staff brought a dish of white powder & when asked what it was they replied “not sure, think it’s starch” - so after that visit it’s safe to say we won’t be back! 😟🙄
