Hi There ,
For the CVM Gathering in 2019 , we are looking to put on a bus from Aberdeen, that's if we get enough guys to book .
Can easily pick up guys on the way down , so please give me a shout if you are up for this exciting adventure in June .
... The gathering has to be experienced , its an awesome weekend , and a great place to bring a friend who doesn't know Christ .
Also be good to get a few Scots to go , first of all to get a flavour of what we can bring back to Scotland and hopefully do a CVM Gathering in Scotland( call it the Clan Gathering) . And we need enough guys for the tug of war to win the Home Nations tournament 👊
Last year there were over 2000 guys , a weekend that you will embrace .

2018 has been an eventful year , pioneering the land of Scotland with CVM has been one heck of a journey , one which has stretched the Faith muscles , but God has never let me or the family down , and we are truly thankful .

We're having a great time at Perth Baptist Church for the CVM men's day on the 'Going Against The Grain' tour!

Good Morning ,
Just a quick update on CVM Scotland .
Just 2 weeks back I attended a Men`s Ministry Course at Cliff College near Manchester , I was there for the week and thoroughly enjoyed the training . Meeting up with nearly 30 like minded evangelists was a breath of fresh air , it was a week of iron sharpens iron .
... I completed my couch to 5k run at Cliff College as well , so this was a boost for me . Went for a run with a guy called Paul , who like me has made the step of Faith into the unknown . His church leadership were encouraging him to train as a Baptist Minister , but he felt the call to be more of an evangelist . So he has actually started a pub/ church , meeting guys every Thursday evening , he now as 8 regular Men who share the word of God around a table and a pint , Paul loves where the Lord has taken him , yes its a tough road , but he has made good friends with the guys , and they have opened up on so many real life stuff the guys have to deal with and are often ashamed to chat about .
We are living in a culture changing world , and as an evangelist I feel a huge pull to reach out like never before , praying, hoping I can use the resources from CVM and what I learned at the college to help train and equip the church that evangelism is not just for an evangelist .
This Saturday there is the CVM event in Perth called Going Against the Grain , this is what it says on the back of the book , Nathan Blackaby talks honestly about the radical call on our lives to be Christian men today , and how we can allow our faith to transform our world – view , aspirations and relationships .
Discover how you can fly in the face of conformity when it comes to church and prayer , authentic friendships , accountability , celebrating wins , and allowing the truth of God to really speak into your life .
Are you ready to stand up and do the same 😊
It`s looking like there will be around 100 guys attending this Saturday , so please pray that the Holy Spirit will prompt more guys to attend , especially those who have no Faith .........
This is a crucial week for me as I spend time in the word , seeking what God wants me share on Saturday .
Believe this is a crucial time for the church in the UK , while away at the college , I learnt a stat that said 92% of this nation does not attend church , now this is a scary stat , but not a surprise to me .
Know many of you might not understand or get the gift of Evangelism , but please stand in prayer for movements like CVM , we certainly need prayer cover at this moment in time .

It's been a busy couple of weeks .
I helped with the Freechurch football camp in Helensburgh . My son Samuel attended the camp , what a fantastic outreach , meeting young lads who love football and they get the opportunity to learn about God .
The Camp is very well run and the teaching was first class , from morning devotional to late night talk , prayer . The boys were awesome , most asking fantastic questions .
... This is a tool we need to use more often , there are thousands of young football players out there and the church need to meet them where they are at .....
Last week I was at the Refuel Festival in Fochabers, and what an amazing week it was . CVM had a mini marquee for the first time , and we had an awesome time , Gregor Howitt made the marquee possible, thank you bro . Gregor had the time of his life , he was amazing with the folks . If you have time have a look at Gregor's brilliant clip doing the dumb bells on FB .
Refuel was a blessing from the great weather through to building friendships with so many people, the Teen Challenge lads were a joy to be around 😀
There is alot of good things happening with CVM Scotland, exciting times ahead , please remember us in your prayers.

Gents,
The Gathering 2018 is over , what a phenomenal weekend, God certainly turned up .
Over 2000 guys in a field in Swindon, having a laugh , praising the Lord and over 100 Men giving their lives to the Lord , wow .
... Looking to book a bus for TG19 , so if your up for it , please get in touch.
The vision for CVM Scotland is to have a Gathering in the Homeland, but it would be awesome for the Scottish guys to experience Swindon, it truly is an awesome experience .
