Hotel is quite nice. People very hospitable. Short walk to large grocery store. Bus is cheaper option to get downtown. Rail is 10 minutes+ walk. Can buy ticket from conductor on board. Can use credit card. Bus driver has change, can use bills. 1hr to Edinburgh 1.5 to Glasgow.
Loved the room. Wasn't huge, but not cramped as well. The room is styled with dark, earthy colors (gray, brown) which gives a warm, cosy feeling. The bathroom was quite spacious and comfortable to use. The staff is great. Breakfast seems to be included in the price (just the basics like cereal, yoghurts etc.), but also gives the option to order something more from the menu for an extra charge. Very quiet.
A wonderful experience from start to finish. Check in was easy and efficient.
The room was luxurious and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was particularly good with probably the best shower experience I have seen in a long while.

Favourite place to eat. The food is beautiful, great atmosphere and the staff are so warm and friendly and can't do enough for you.
Great visual spectacle inside and out. Classy rooms. Very friendly and efficient staff. Only downsides were I had a thick winter duvet in the height of summer. Crazy, as the one thing you want from a hotel is a good night sleep. Prices for drinks were also a bit eye watering. £20 for a large glass of medium quality wine. Would still visit again though.
Room was nice but not enough lighting. Also would be great to have full access to sky in all rooms.
Stayed while working in Dunfermline, very nice modern hotel with friendly staff. Love the decor, although the mood lighting can be a little too moody!! As with a lot of hotels, not great lighting in the bathroom to do your make up
The Dakota hotel is classy and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and had everything in it that we needed for that night. The food was lovely and there was also some fancy drinks that we had too. Staff were awesome
Went for a bar meal after attending an event at Ingliston and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Nice decor and setting, excellent service and lovely food. Price wasn't too bad considering that it's a fairly upmarket hotel. We will definitely be returning.
