What a great stay at Dakota hotel (Eurocentral)! We stayed there as a last minute Valentine treat and we weren’t disappointed.



Going through the curtain into reception we were met with the smiles from the reception desk, who made the check in feel personal by referring to our dinner reservation later that night. And what a bonus it was to find out we had been upgraded!



We had a bit of a niggle with our room, but the duty manager acted respectfully (Other hotels would probably tell me I was just being picky) and quickly to make sure we had a room that was just right for us and not delay us for our dinner reservation (again she was aware of it).



Now onto dinner - I started with one of the suggested cocktails - a peach and plum champagne concoction which I can only describe as a deliciously girly, fruity flirty sherbet - a perfect choice!



Again the personal touch continued as the manager came over and specifically pointed out the vegetarian options as this was listed in our original booking. Despite this we ended up ordering steak frites and the monkfish and prawn curry which were both really good - but the star of the show had to be the creme brûlée. A definite 7/8 out of 10 (a point or two knocked off I’m afraid because there just wasn’t enough of the creme �)



After dinner we retired to the comfy sofas and the impeccable service continued. The staff are very attentive but not in your face - just the right balance when you want to cosy up.



If you’ve not tried it out yet, we’d definitely recommend paying it a visit. Indeed, we’re already frantically trying to find a spare weekend to go back again.

We won a three course roast lunch and bottle of champagne 🥂🍾 It was absolutely delicious! The restaurant is stunning and had friendly & welcoming staff. I always imagined it would be out of our budget but £25 for 3 stunning courses is definitely worth it for a little treat ✨ thanks so much 💖

We regularly pop in for a coffee after work and are treated as if we are staying in the hotel.

Last night we chose to walk using the footpath / cycle path.

A great decision allowing us to sample the beer & wine.

A great evening and a taxi home !!

We have just had the pleasure of 3 nights here over Easter and loved it!!

The whole feel of the place is great and everyone so warm and friendly our room was on the 5th floor and it was immaculate and quite spacious.

The cocktail menu is great and has so much choice.

But the food!! Wow!! We had afternoon tea which was brilliant and ate in the restaurant one night which was fantastic. Breakfast was superb and I highly recommended the

Eggs benedict they are always cooked to perfection!

We had an amazing stay for our anniversary, to help us celebrate we were given a complimentary upgrade to their signature suite which was outstanding. Our whole stay we were made to feel special we can’t wait to return. Thank you!

The Dakota Eurocentral is a contemporary "dark grey box" building located on a non-descript business estate just off the M8. But don't be fooled by the exterior, you know something special is coming when you walk in the door, through curtains which maintain the reception (and entire hotels) very low key dark interior.



The reception itself is very modern and stylish, in fact the interior design of the whole hotel is modern, tasteful but playful too. Just beyond the reception area is the, again nicely decorated cocktail bar and restaurant. We used both each night and both are excellent, both for dinner and breakfast the restaurant is just excellent, good food, local ingredients and just enough choice (not a menu that overreaches itself). Staff are extremely friendly but professional, helpful but not pushy. Oh and shout-out to the music playlist, totally my taste.



Single rooms are small but designed in such a way not to feel so, all fixtures and fittings are high quality and the rooms wouldn't feel out of place with a view of Central Park.



Overall I can easily recommend the Dakota, if you're ever in the area then it's well worth a stay (I haven't tried but I'm sure its sister hotels in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Leeds are just as good).

Spent last night here for a birthday treat from my boyfriend. Arrival at the hotel through curtains in to a cosy and luxurious decor. The reception staff were lovely. The room didn't dissapoint. Had a very comfortable sleep and no complaints about room. Dinner in the hotel was also lovely. Food was delicious and again staff very attentive. Had a few drinks in bar and enjoyed the surroundings. Would stay again.

Our stay was excellent staff all work so hard, we took the dog which was excellent we were treated so well thanks. The food was fantastic too can’t recommend highly enough.

Not only was the chef willing to be adventurous but the staff couldn’t have shown more care. It was a pleasure to visit and both the presentation and the food was fabulous.

My partner and I booked dinner and overnight stay for my birthday. Place is very clean and decor is beautiful (especially the rooms). All staff are very attentive especially Richard and we didn't have to wait long for our meal which we thoroughly enjoyed. We got breakfast the next morning aswell and same again, we loved it. My partners only complaint was that he didn't get beans with his Scottish fry up. Would highly recommend the Dakota to everyone and we will definitely be back �

The suite we booked was stunning.

Food and cocktails amazing.

Decor on point and staff were amazing.

Only thing was, there was no information at all in our room, reg room service or information on the hotel, price list for bar in room, times for breakfast etc. An information pack would have been beneficial for our stay as this was our first time here. Very minor but just something that may have been missed with housekeeping as well as the bottle of water left in our room that was already opened and been used �but overall it was great. Thank u x

Had a beautiful meal in the Resturant for a Christmas catch up with cousin's .Food was delicious . Service was excellent & staff really friendly & helpful . On a really cold night the Resturant was lovely & cosy with those beautiful fires going . Will most defiantly be back .. many thanks to our waiter David , he was great putting up with 7 cackling ladies , thank you most enjoyable evening !!

Can not thank the management and staff enough for all the fantastic support gorgeous afternoon tea and wonderful proseco yesterday. Our ladies day for Marie curie was a huge success and because of the generous donation of an overnight stay we raised even more money for a fantastic cause.

Absolutely beautiful decor and service was flawless with staff always very happy to cater to our needs.



We will certainly be back and I can honestly recommend "Dakota" to all who want the very best and will get it.

The atmosphere was relaxing, and friendly. The central fire place was gorgeous. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Staff were courteous and friendly.

Food was good but batter on fish a bit on greasy side and the cooked breakfast was the same. That’s my one and only gripe, it would not put me off going back
