*REMINDER - P4 PARENTS* A reminder that all P4 pupils will attend a four-week swimming/library block at Aqualibrium on Tuesday mornings, beginning this Tuesday, 19th February. Please make sure all pupils have swimming costumes/shorts, towels and appropriate clothing and footwear for walking to and from Aqualibrium. Thank you! 😊

School and ELC re-open on Monday 18th, following the mid-term break. We hope all our pupils had an enjoyable week and we very much look forward to seeing them all again tomorrow 😁

A reminder that school and ELC close for the February Break tomorrow, re-opening on Monday 18th February. Staff Development Days are on Thurs 14th & Fri 15th. We wish all our pupils, parents and staff a well-earned rest and wee breather! Thank you, as always, for your continued support and trust 😁

Our P6/5 pupils paid a delightful visit to 'The Elderberries' this afternoon. The pupils enjoyed serving shortbread (some of which they made themselves) and Irn Bru. They also performed their School Show songs and our Dalintober song in BSL. Some also played their instruments, danced and read a Scottish poem! 😊 A lovely visit - thank you for having us! 😁

*DALINTOBER DRAMA CLUB PUPILS* There will be extra practices from 10am - 2pm on Thurs 14th and Fri 15th February, for those who can make it. Please bring a packed lunch 😁

*EXCITING NEWS!!!* Dalintober Drama Club will be the ONLY Junior Drama group performing at the 70th Drama Festival on Saturday 23rd February. We have only started this year, but we have a hugely talented and enthusiastic troupe, thrilled to be on the stage! Please give us lots of support and encouragement! Thank you and well done to every single one of our young budding actors and stage-hands and also for the fantastic input from their coaches Mr Norris, Ms Brogan, Miss Lamont, Miss Greenlees and Mr Cosgrove - and to Mrs Ida Brown for her valued direction. I am immensely proud of you all! 💕😁

Our sincere thanks to all parent/carers and pupils who attended tonight's 'Sharing Practice' Event. We hope you found it to be a valuable and worthwhile evening - on that note, thank you, also, for your very positive and heartening feedback. Sincere thanks to our PTA for providing a creche, to Caroline Glen for her Childsmile input - and, of course, to all the staff members who presented and attended this evening 😁

A huge well done to all Dalintober pupils who took part in and were placed in the Area Badminton Competition at the weekend. We are very proud of all of you 😁🏅

Our P1 & P2 'Healthy Heroes' were also very busy creating some lovely fruity butterflies - and even one for me! Thank you! 😁

Our P6 & P7 Options 'Healthy Heroes' Group were very busy soup-making and tasting on Friday afternoon- yum! 😁

We like to 'Wake & Shake' at Dalintober's Breakfast Clubs 😁

A big thank you to Mrs Craig for again so generously volunteering her time to help us in our efforts to be a BSL- friendly school. This is the first in a series of sessions with our ELC pupils - Old McDonald mastered...! 😁

A huge well done to our P7s and Mrs Ronald for organising and presenting a Burns Event as part of their study of Enlightenment. Thank you to all parents who attended the afternoon, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all 😊

We don't mind a little bit of snow at Dalintober...! 😝💕 We will be open as normal tomorrow. However, with ice warnings overnight, please wrap up warmly and take care on your journeys and on entering/exiting school grounds. Thank you 😊❄😊
