Dalkeith Transport & Storage Company was registered in 1948, and has a long history within the Transport industry in both Scotland and UK wide. Originally starting off as both general haulage and livestock transportation, the company now specialises in next day palletised delivery and moved away from livestock transportation in the early 1990’s.

The Company was started in 1948 by Alexander Marshall Wright and is now run by both the Managing Director /Finance Director, Peter C Wright and Marshall Wright , Chairman / Director. After nearly 60 years, the company is still family run and proud of their history.

Dalkeith Transport presently operate a fleet of circa 40 carrying vehicles, with 100 Trailers hauling general freight throughout the U. K. Together with 200, 000 square feet of internal and external warehousing spread over 2 depots, Newtongrange and Cumbernauld.
