Dan Berry Freestyle Martial Arts Academy Description
The area's FIRST and LARGEST full time family martial arts and fitness centre. We have a full timetable with age appropriate classes and syllabus for children as young as four years old.
Our centre consists of a fully matted martial arts area including punch bag stations and a competitive ring, along with a huge fitness gym in the double units adjoining, with free weights, a cardio area, functional fitness rig, core area, battle ropes, sled track and a injury prehab /rehab clinic.
To accompany all of this, there is a packed out fitness timetable which includes HIIT classes Blitz, Combat, Pump, Yoga, Circuits, Aerobics and BoxFit both in the daytime and evening
There is a strong services connection, with members of the 999 emergency response teams and all HM Armed Forces receiving more than 30% discount on membership.
Our unique, family friendly environment already caters a huge spectrum ranging from elite professional athletes to those looking to stay fit and active in retirement.

This week, youโre still doing 5 x 1 minute rounds ๐ HOWEVER! Instead of 20 seconds recovery, youโre going to do 5 burpees, then go straight into the next round with NO REST! ๐ฎ . . 5 x 1 minute round, 5 burpees at the end of each round then straight into the next! ๐ช๐ป๐ฅ . . Right folks, letโs get off to a sweaty start, this pyramid is going to raise the pulse ๐ As you will see from the video, each exercise has difficulty options, choose whichever one suits you! Try and do it with as shorter rest periods as possible...if any!! ๐คช .... . 60 seconds fast punching 60 seconds mountain climbers . . Complete 10 reps of press ups, squats and burpees. THEN complete 9 reps of each, then 8, then 7 and so on. Going all the way down to 1, THEN BACK UP TO TEN, as fast as possible ๐
๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ . . Finish with the started in reverse: 60 seconds of mountain climbers, 60 seconds of fast punches! . . JOB DONE!!! โ
