Two of my clients today decided it was too hot to train. I didn’t argue with them... instead we sat on the grass and talked about their lives, their relationships, their training and their goals and ambitions. For me this was a far more beneficial than any training we could have done 💪🏼❤️

A Baker cyst (serious swelling behind the knee), arthritis, 5 operations, key hole surgery, a broken femur and fitted with a metal plate... and after all this here is client Robbie being able to bend his knee to a 90 degree angle for the first time in over 15 years!

What does fitness mean?
Fitness means waking up in the morning and looking forward to the day ahead.
It means trying something new every day.
... It means attempting and achieving what you didn’t think was possible.
It means getting uncomfortable and pushing yourself as hard as you can but to sensible, achievable and sustainable limits.
It means being confident in your body and with your health, no matter what number it says on the scale.
It means eating nice food and drinking nice drinks and enjoying your life.
It DOESN’T mean getting you to the lowest body fat % possible whilst making you miserable and ashamed in the process.
It DOESN’T mean competing in a physique competition and making you think that that’s how you should look.
Yes we all want to look and feel good but I can tell you 100 better ways to do it.
Sorry fitness industry, but so many of you have got it all wrong (in my opinion).
FITNESS is positive physical and mental health, not a low body fat percentage.
