Dance North Scotland is at the vanguard of contemporary dance. We’re on a mission to promote and produce bold and imaginative events that offer people from across the globe to just down the road new opportunities to experience dance. With a strong track record and international profile, we are dedicated to bringing excellent, sometimes challenging work, to rural northeast Scotland, drawing artists and choreographers from across the globe. Whether it’s introducing rural audiences to contemporary dance, promoting experimental dance practices or delivering dance and movement workshops to improve the wellbeing of communities, we see ourselves as leaders in our field.

OPPORTUNITY: Space/Time is a paid creative retreat for experienced artists from all disciplines that asks the question “How does an artist keep developing?
The retreat will run from 4th-9th October 2019 at Cove Park, on the Rosneath peninsula in Argyll, and the application process is now open. Experienced artists from any art form are welcome to apply by the deadline of 1pm on Friday 21st June.
