As a filmmaker and director over the last 16 years I have collaborated with artists, musicians, choreographers, poets and theatre makers. I have frequently deployed observational forms in order to interrogate, for example, the materiality and psychology of dance, sport and everyday life. My work has been screened by the BBC, Channel 4, Frieze Film, British Council and at film festivals in Cannes, Naples, Istanbul, Budapest, Zurich and Edinburgh. My most recent directing work was for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony and I am currently the filmmaker on Hanna Tuulikki's ambitious Air falbh leis na h-eòin | Away with the birds project set on the island of Canna.
