Darceys began in 2011 with the founder making soy wax products in her home in Kilmarnock, and selling them at a local market. Now they are still hand crafted in Kilmarnock at the Darceys workshop.

Soy wax is the cleaner way of burning - one of the reasons everyone loves Darceys . Alarmingly over 90% of wax products in the UK are imported and are made from paraffin.

Soy wax is a natural product and there is no toxins or pollutants released when burning which is less likely to trigger allergies. There is no black soot released like paraffin candles therefore no black marks on walls, ceilings or fabrics. Soy wax burns at a lower temperature than paraffin do will last 30-50% longer with a cleaner, crisper scent.
