Massive Thank you to all our hardworking instructors, that’s Jo below with some of the aqua gang!

Just to let you know we will be running a reduced timetable from Thursday 20th December to Wednesday 2nd January. Copies will be available from Reception from Thursday 13th once it’s been checked, but it’s all on the App too as the days roll through. Please note due to instructor availability some classes may be different, and you may get the opportunity to try something new!

Tis the season to become an Elf. 🎄
DL kids are running two very special morning camps.. run by our mother & daughter staff members Hannah & Georgia.
Yes... ELF SCHOOL IS COMING TO DL LICHFIELD. ... ***members only event***
Friday 21st Dec 9-11am 3-4years (parents must remain on site)
Monday 24th Dec 9-1pm 5-11years (parents can leave site if they wish)
Kids will complete a variety of themed elf activities, including physical and arts&crafts in order to become a fully fledged elf.. just in time for Christmas.
The morning will include breakfast, a snack and plenty of fun christmassy activities.
Come in your best christmas outfit and get in the christmassy spirit.
Bookings start from tomorrow at front of house and we have limited spaces on each event so please book quick to avoid disappointment.

Due to couple of unforeseen instructor issues it’s been necessary to make a few changes to tomorrow’s timetable!
Sprint at 0645 will be a Virtual class, then a massive thank you to Ben Walsh who will be covering Combat 0930, Pump 1030 and 1925, and Grit 1850, with alternative style classes.
... The app has been updated in the last few minutes but may take some time to pick up the change.
If your usual class isn’t on tomorrow, we apologise for any inconvenience, but why not take the opportunity to try something new!

We are now Looking at rebooking for next year and the David Lloyd Lichfield ALLSTARS programmes will be progressing to a new 50 week format starting 5th January 2019.
... The continuous delivery of tuition produces a faster rate of progression, easier movement through our stages and consistent engagement of our participants.
Our European clubs successfully trialled this last year and after feedback from our members and our desire to offer the best possible product and we are now excited to be launching it nationwide in 2019.
Payment will be via Direct Debit taken alongside you membership fee to spread the cost across the year and you can look forward to regular activity and exercise year round helping to keep your children fit and healthy.

The new sauna and cabin is progressing nicely and we hope it should be open as planned tomorrow evening.

My first visit to David Lloyd’s since the refurbishment, and what a transformation. Very welcoming and lovely staff, all in all a fantastic visit !

Love the new Smartbars! Thank you for getting them in!

Love the gym and classes especially the newly invested equipment and redecorated studios, love the new DL kids area and soft play, love the food and drink especially the scrummy latte's made with coconut milk, love the pool especially with access to the outdoor pool. All in all a fantastic place to spend time on my own, with my husband, with friends and as a family, I would highly recommend!

Excellent facilities for all ages! New soft play is perfect for the children. Classes are brilliant would highly recommend Jacqui's classes

Been a member since Esporta. Love the outdoor pool. We are so lucky to have it. And they let us keep our adult only hour when lots of other clubs lost it. Lots of lovely friends there.

Came along today a lovely sunny afternoon to be told that the kids couldn't swim outside. one adult doing laps in the outdoor pool and all the kids stuck inside. Something to do with not having enough lifeguards .. this needs sorting out or really the money I pay for the kids is pointless I can take them to the public pool if I want them to swim inside.

Average. Been to nicer David Lloyd’s with better layouts... food was nice though

Poor service here tonight charged for softplay 10 pounds when going into eat as no members spending over 30 pound in food and ten pound for a small soft play that adults supervise which in Aberdeen David Lloyd is free? Why are they different same company .So called manager with no name badge rude will be calling head office regarding this.

In desperate need of some work!! 2 smashed mirrors in the training areas, some of the training bench pads are split, several of the machines also have split pads, the leg machine has gaffer tape wrapped around it and also an adjuster knob missing, same on the one next to it! Water fountain out of order... AGAIN! Often there is no toilet roll in the men’s toilets! Often the shower cubicles have run out of soap ( I train here 3-5 times a week at 8am) who is in charge of this simple stuff!?? The changing room benches are a joke, the old ones had a divider allowing better use for more people. You can now see straight into the changing area (naked men) from the corridor (women & children walking past) as some dimwit removed part of the wall??? Toilets and showers are never very clean! LOTS of people are not happy with the state of this place since David Llyod took over.. I pay £81 a month for this! Myself and other members I know are looking to change gyms. Breakfast is good though! Sort it out guys!!

Unfairly treated and discriminated against. Management and sales team are profit driven racists

Really wanted to Join David Lloyds lichfield after having a great experience at the great barr one. Was ok to pay the £162 a month for me and my partner to have the full package but when I told my 6 month old baby would have to pay £17.50 to use the gym on a flexible contract (when he obviously cant use any of the facilities apart from the creche, which would be charged at £5 an hour extra) it really made me feel as though there only after the money. Its free for a baby under 2 at 95% of other David Lloyds, but the sales people are unwilling to help/budge at all. Banantynes down the road in the tamworth has as good as facilities bar the tennis courts, for half the price and babies are free. Really can't see the gym lasting long with prices/service like that.
