... If script says they’re good, then got to find what’s bad, weak, not as clean cut, as most people in life are not that black and white.

As an actor, I used to think that if I didn’t learn my lines, I’ll be more raw, real, edgy, spontaneous! In terms of acting for the camera. You can’t do that in theatre!
With more experience, I realised that if you are well prepared with your lines, then you can fly better! You can be all the above, because your not focussed on your lines. You’re in the zone, and when you’re there, any wild shit can come up!
Of course, Dennis Hopper was off his head on #apocalypsenow 😂🤪 Great... actor, filmmaker, artist!

... If all the takes are pretty much the same, replicated like a machine, I’m limited with what I can work with in the edit
If you restrict the actors, your killing creative possibilities! The more choices to play with the better.
