Davidson’s Customer “sweeps the board” at NMR herd Competition
Davidson’s Animal feeds were delighted that customer John Harvey, Drum Farm, literally “swept the board” at the National Milk Records Herd Competition for Scotland and Northern England 2018.
At the Awards dinner, held in Carlisle on February 22nd, John was the recipient of a number of prestigious categories -... - Cow highest on kg, BF and P (1st) - Heifer highest on kg, BF and P (1st) - Cow and Heifer highest on Yield BF and P KG (1st) overall trophy winner) - Cow and Heifer highest on Yield BF and P KG (1st) - Lowest Cell Count SCC ( 4th) - Best Herd on Daily Lifetime Yield 3x/Robot herds (1st) - Highest Holstein herd production on BF and Pkg 3x/ROBOT (1st)
John Rogers, Davidson’s Dairy Specialist, who works closely with John Harvey on the feeding of his herd says “John is a very worthy recipient of these Awards, as he is totally committed to the health, welfare and performance of his herd.”
