About Me

In 2003 I married my wife and unfortunately it was the start of a very bad year culminating in the passing of my father and being made redundant from my position in IT within March 2004. At this point I went for a change and having bought and sold a few houses I looked at getting into the financial side of the property market.

I have been advising on Mortgages in and around Stevenage and Hertfordshire since 2004 and after spending just short of five years working for Independent Mortgage Advice Bureau (Letchworth) Ltd in Stevenage and learning the trade I decided it was time to cut the apron strings and go out on my own. With over 600 mortgages processed it is fair to say there isn't much I haven't seen!

I joined Mortgage Advice Network, who are based in Knebworth, in September 2008 and have been working on building this business since then with the support of my family, some long hours, and an immensely tough market place. Now finally we are starting to see an improvement in rates and a market which is moving a lot more and business is starting to pick up. Due to a hike in the fee's being charged by the network I decided to move again. This time back to Independent Mortgage Advice Bureau (Letchworth) Ltd where I have been since the start of 2013.

I have concentrated on building good relationships with the people I work with and can say that these connections are a major asset in the industry we work in.
