Dd8 Music

A community run recording studio and youth project in the Angus town of Kirriemuir.

DD8 Music is a charity, formed by a keen group of young musicians in the Angus town of Kirriemuir. The group was initially formed to address the lack of any opportunities for young people to express themselves musically in the town. The charity is currently run by a dedicated team of volunteers. We aim to involve young people at all levels, including participation in the organisation of events and also in positions of responsibility, for example, as posts on the committee.
The DD8 Music recording studio is available to hire as a rehearsal room, and also for recording.
There is a full backline permanently in place, with drums, guitar and bass amps, keyboards and PA.
Hire prices are:
Waged £10 per hour or £25 for 3 hours
Unwaged £6 per hour or £15 for 3 hours.
