Pancreatic Cancer Scotland had the privilege to be invited to be a part of BDA Scotland's BSL Health Fest 2016 yesterday.

An amazing event and opened our eyes and made us realise we need to do something as a charity to involve the deaf community.

A wonderful place with wonderful staff and people.

I have never heard of the centre prior to my visiti today after being made aware of a Christmas panto that was on at the centre. A little apprehensive about taking my 15month boy, I was greeted with a lovely welcome and directed into a large waiting room that my little boy just loved running around in, staff were lovely and chatty. Then taken upstairs to an informal theatre I was taken away by the effort that had gone into such a small production, from the props, to the music and the 2 actors. It was fab u lous. Great interaction for kids and very child friendly, it was so personal.

Afterwards we were walked down to visit santa which alone was the best santa I have seen for a long time, very humble and cheery. £4 for a ticket is an absolute bargain.

Thank you so much for having us, you have done a very good deed for today, we loved it!! and well done Nina.

Hi. I'm Welsh deaf and sign language and I live in Cardiff. I've been in Glasgow Deaf Club over first time on Friday 17th July 2015. And it was on my holiday in Scotland over 2 week sleeps with my family. It was nice talk and view in the room in Glasgow Deaf Club. Because it was close on the closed time. Shame! It was nice talk with 3 interpreters sign language. I hope you have a nice day and when I wish I will be coming to Glasgow Deaf Club soon. It was nice meet to you :)
