Deep Sea World Description
Located beneath the world-famous Forth Rail Bridge, Deep Sea World is Scotland’s national aquarium.
Over 40 displays, including the 4. 5-million-litre Underwater Safari with its walkthrough tunnel, are home to hundreds of fascinating creatures, ranging from seals and seahorses to stingrays and giant sand tiger sharks.

We have fish in all their diversity! Here a Bluestreak Cleaner Wrasse offers its cleaning service to a ‘client’. A mutualistic relationship providing food for the wrasse, and the removal of parasites and dead tissue for the bigger fish! #aquarium #fishes

“The prehistoric event at Deep Sea World was a massive hit with my son. His love of ancient sharks and dinosaurs only increased when he spoke to the incredible team on hand. Neil is full of knowledge and amazing stories we could have stayed for hours. My son’s favourite part was when he got to sift for his very own shark tooth in the sand pit and take it home for safe keeping. A brilliant event which I’d highly recommend.”
