Deeside Inn

Only stopped here for a meal. Very VERY tasty genuine top quality food. Cosy atmosphere. Dog friendly. Will be back.

Hotel was nice! Staff was friendly! Breakfast was a bit of a nightmare at the weekend tables were a mess and not set and you could be waiting for 30mins just to get a hello had to chase the staff to take our order, had breakfast on the Monday and it was like a different place got seen too as soon as you sat down tables were clean

We enjoyed our 4-night stay at the Deeside Inn. The location is perfect. You can fish for salmon within a 5-minute drive and enjoy all the other Highland activities. The common areas were quaint and comfortable and the staff helpful. I took away one star for the dinner menu, which was for the most part mediocre. Breakfast was lovely and the coffee great, but the rest of the meals were spotty. I took away another star for the room. It was clean, but small and utilitarian. Adequate, but no charm. That said, I still enjoyed my stay there.

I have stayed at the deeside a number of times over the years. The rooms are basic adequate. I would rather have a shower rather than a hose over the bath.
The TV did not work but wifi was good.
The staff are always very good and always helpful.
I had a meal in the bar atmosphere always good lighting a little dark for me as I found it hard to read the menu by candle light.
The beer always good.

Lovely stay at the Deeside Inn. Room was small but suitable for an overnight stay. We had dinner when we arrive, we were surprised to see that the prices were cheaper than indicated online. Our food and drinks arrived quickly and the service staff were friendly and attentive. After dinner we enjoyed a quiet night in the lounge area as the bar was busy. Breakfast was included in the cost and we had the usual choice of hot and cold breakfasts. The hotel very welcoming and also dog friendly.

Friendly service for our extended working lunch in the large and comfortable lounge. Excellent menu to choose from and lunch itself was well presented and very tasty.

Decent room conditions. Good Scottish fare in the dining room.

Cozy and comfortable pub/restaurant with friendly staff, food was standard fair but not hard to find something good to eat

Really enjoyed the decor and atmosphere in the pub especially since we could bring in our dog in. I have to say we were really surprised by how high quality the food was, delicious and well presented. It wasn't the quickest but the place was busy and worth the wait. Also had original veggie options.
