About Deeside Local Food Festival

A one day event on Sunday 15th September 2019, 11am - 4pm at Cults Academy to celebrate local food.

Deeside Local Food Festival Description

Deeside Local Food Festival is an annual event that celebrates locally produced food in and around Aberdeenshire. This year it is taking place on Sunday 23rd August, 11am - 5pm, at Crathes Castle in Aberdeenshire.

To build on the success of the event in previous years we are delighted to open the 2020 festival with a ceilidh on Saturday evening while Sunday will be filled with delicious food, live music and entertainment for all ages.

‘Ceilidh at the Castle’ will be held on Saturday from 6. 30pm to 10pm and will feature popular local band “Cabrach”. This event will be suitable for all the family. Food and drinks (alcoholic & soft) will be available to purchase from local vendors.

The Food Festival will take place on Sunday from 11am to 5pm. The day will feature over 45 producers in our local food and drink market, a delicious selection of street food stalls, chef demonstrations, foodie fun community group stalls for the children, hands on workshops, live music and outdoor kids activities.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Parking in the dedicated festival car park will be free of charge from Saturday 6pm until Sunday 6pm. This also applies to non NTS members.

Festival guests wishing to explore the Castle will also be required to pay the standard castle entry fee.
