I'm sitting here wi my glass o the best Rioja Aldi can muster and I'm thinking what can I offer the good people o the toon to tempt them to visit the Vu tomorrow apart from the usual great craic ,great music for the dancing ,live fitba on the box .... What about complimentary tonic with every gin on the back bar and we have over twenty of them to choose from !!!!!!
Our DJ for the night is usually behind the bar but because of an unfortunate accident involving a hot tub , prossecco , ice cubes and two wee dogs and a visit to A&E she is on the laptop for the night 😄😄 Love the Vu x

Well it took a bit o thinking about and waiting till my poor old accountant was away on his holidays to Monaco but it’s done The Vu now has the full sky HD sports service , big commitment for a wee pub but it’s worth it canny wait for new season 😜and their no point in half measures what about a 65 inch ultra HD TV TO show it on and the whole pub having an all round viewing experience wi new screens and sound system !! It all kicks in for next weekend and that is in addition ...to full BT Sports for the European fitba !!! Ffs there’s an incoming call fae Monaco he just choked on his martini 😂😂 So no more buffering or hookey streams it’s the real deal at the Vu Don’t you just love the Vu 😀x

How brilliant has Dumfries been this weekend ? Youth Beatz , armed forces day parade on the high street ,bands on at dock park and all in lovely sunshine , yep the town has its probs along with hundreds of other towns but when it’s good its a great place to live and personally I love the place 👍 Thank you everyone of you who took the time to come into the Vu and shared your company with us Love the Vu x

My sister had her hen night here and staff could not have been more accommodating or friendly. Brilliant atmosphere and they didn't have the slightest problem with our messy game. We were able to bring a cake in with us too! The DJ was great too. Highly recommend! Xx
