Well, that’s planting over for another year. With a bit of help from the weather and a huge amount of help from Rebecca, Jim, Robert, Tony, Neil and Cam. This has been the easiest and most enjoyable season ever. Good luck to everyone who still have a few tatties to plant.

We had a most enjoyable afternoon with the tattie growing experts from Dunbar Primary! They loved seeing what happens to their potatoes once they’ve been lifted and stored. Thanks to Mike and Ken from George Anderson & Sons for organising it all.

What do you buy the 87 yr old who has everything for his birthday? Here’s Our Willie proudly sitting in his new transit van so as he can get even more seed tatties delivered to all our local garden centres! What a man! 😂

Here’s the last two drills of this year’s tattie harvest. It’s been a great one. Perfect conditions and pretty good crops considering the drought in the summer. All made easy by our brilliant team of guys (and gals!) Thanks so much Team. 👍😃

Just dropping off some tatties to the Stair Arms for the Dalkeith Farmers Dinner tomorrow night. There must be a helluva lot of hungry farmers coming along! 😂

I was really worried on Friday when I had to shift a wee robin’s nest to get into my fertiliser bags. So much so that I brought my GoPro in to see if Mum and Dad had deserted these five little babies. Not a chance as you’ll see in the video. 👍😃(Mind and tap HD)
