**Disclosing Tablets**
Disclosing tablets are a good method to make sure that your child is brushing their teeth properly.
The 5 stages of using disclosing tablets are shown below in the photos
... 1. Patients teeth
2. Chew on the tablet
3. Plaque shows up on teeth as a pink colour
4. Brush teeth to remove all the pink
5. Clean teeth
We stock disclosing tablets at the practice and they do a good job in making sure your child brushes all the plaque off their teeth.

Has your Dentist or the Childsmile Nurse ever mentioned disclosing tablets?

Our new Itero scanner is proving to be a massive hit at the practice! The scanner is used by Morven or Chloe to scan the mouth and then we are able to show the results that Invisalign would have on the patients teeth. The scanner also helps to keep track on existing Invisalign patients also. If you are interested in the Invisalign teeth straightening treatment at the practice then we can do a scan for you at your consultation.

Why are the forms at the Dentist important?!
When you arrive for your appointment you may be required to fill in some forms, each form is important for different reasons as it is important that we have your information as up to date as possible. It is important that we have your correct address as the NHS need a valid postcode to be able to put treatment through the system.
It is important that the medical history is checked and updated regularly so that we are always aware ...of any new medications or conditions.
We also need to make sure that we have your correct date of birth as the NHS also need this too.
With the new GD-PR in place this also means a 'contact consent' form which needs to be signed in order to consent to appointment reminders and for holding your information as well as any marketing.
If you ever need a hand filling in any of the forms at the front desk then feel free to ask a staff member for help as we understand that I pad's can be difficult if you are not used to them.

Four years since Carla joined the Deveron Dental Centre team!
Since joining the team Carla has completed her Childsmile course, her Dental Nursing course and her Cleanliness champion qualification. Carla can be found in all areas of the practice as she does a mixture of reception and surgery.
Carla is a very busy bee as when she isn't at work she is practicing for her dancing which she is a World Champion at. Carla teaches dance lessons on a Monday afternoon/night and also ...practices in her own studio most nights of the week/weekend as well.

We have been coming to The Deveron Dental Centre for a number of years. As our family has grown we’ve continued to come even though we don’t live nearby.

Today I visited for my first ever filing at the grand old age of nearly 38 which I was incredibly nervous about. Thank you so much for being so understanding and calm and putting me at ease.

Staff are also great with our two children when we come for check ups. A great dentist surgery.

Very good first appointment. Charming staff and looking forward to future visits."

Thank you so much to the lovely dentist and assistant who cared very well for my daughter yesterday when she fainted. You were very calming and helpful, dealing with the situation in a reassuring way.

Phoned the dentist today (Deveron Dental Surgery)Huntly at 8.15am when they opened had horrible toothache.Was sitting on the dentist’s chair by 8.50 fantastic, best dentists we have ever had. Staff so friendly, kind and patient. They are all a credit to Morven the Practice Owner/Dentist. Thank you yet again girls.

I always feel very comfortable here. It is great that your check-up and hygienist appointments are done at one visit too. It really saves time. Especially as I choose to go there from Lossiemouth! Great service. Thank you.

So sorry for breaking down on you both but thank you for being so supportive. Definitely the best dental practice out there.

always a friendly happy place to visit - easy to achieve in somewhere like a pub - but a dental practise, that's a pretty neat achievement. So why only a 4 ? - well you can only go downhill from a 5 out of 5 and I don't want that to happen

I am a very nervous patient, however the staff take the time to make me feel relaxed and talk me through what is about to happen, before carrying it out. this puts me at ease during visits.
