Big DoG is an exciting family festival taking place in Dumfries, celebrating childrenŌĆÖs books and creativity. From Friday 29th to Sunday 31st March, venues in Dumfries will be hosting authors and illustrators, putting on workshops, and even throwing a Neverland Paw-ty!
Hooked! ... Don't forget, for young adult readers and writers there will be a day of creative workshops taking place at The Stove on Saturday 30th March.

Live in the Wigtown catchment area? Use the white household waste bags purchased from D&G Council?
We've been informed that these bags will be available to to buy from your local Dumfries & Galloway Council office until the 31st March 2019.
The bags can then be put out for collection with the normal household waste wheeled bins until 31.7.19.
