first time diner last week friendly atmosphere and pleasant environment..not too crowded or noisy. Rich sauces for pasta and tempting puddings...watch your waistline!

I really enjoyed my visit to Di Gorgio. Everything was reasonably priced and there was a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The coffees were well made and the staff attentive and polite.

We ate here last Sunday morning for a spot of breakfast. The food was fantastic, full of interesting tastes - the Boston beans are an interesting take on homemade baked-beans. The americano coffee I had was probably one of the best I've had - rich, not too watery and more like a very good espresso. They do evening meals and I will definitely check them out next time I'm in Edinburgh.

Went here for lunch after a tour of the Botanics and was pleasantly surprised. Staff were friendly, and food arrived quickly. I had one the daily specials; pasta stuffed with spinach and ricotta served in a cheese sauce with pears and nuts. They were able to make it without nuts, I wasn't expecting the pears to be good but they worked with the dish really well. Overall good experience would definitely go back.

Whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner, this is a small, family run place. If you're in this part of town, and feel like a nibble, and a very good coffee they are well worth stopping in:)

Visited Saturday morning was asked if we were having breakfast said yes we were asked to sit in corner table which was small when breakfast came we had to put hot drinks on floor staff notice said good initiative rather than move us to tables that were empty will not return

I've been living in Edinburgh for a year, and this is the best gem for brunch I've come across yet. Absolutely incredible! Friendly staff, excellent cuisine options, quality food and a great atmosphere.

You can't go wrong, really.
