Garage damaged leather door lining and refused to replace as 'too costly'.....

First class service,We have used other places in the past but will stick to Diack Autos.

Took my car here for an MOT because i could not get booked into Halfords , the place gave off the impression of a bit of a dodgy garage as soon as you walk in, After waiting about 30 minutes for the MOT to be done i was told that the car had failed the MOT on wiper blades, brake pad and parking brake and was charged £50 for the privilege, sure enough they were very keen to offer their services to rectify the MOT fail points. Not convinced by this, i took my car to Halfords a few days later, without having any work done, and surprise surprise the car passed the MOT. The brake pad was marked down as an advisory (as it was close to the 1.5mm limit, and not under 1.5mm as i was told by Diack's) but none of the other points i "failed" on at Diack's were regarded as a fail by halfords, and i specifically asked them to check the points that Diack's had said i failed on.

Seems to me Diack's was just out to get a bit more money out of me...... i will not be going back to them.
