My new venture carries on my creative and floristry skills that covers a stagering span of 25 years since doing the odd design for people as well as weddings and this well before I know the final details of even wiring a corsage but I kept at it.

A lot of my inspiration back then can only be dedicated to the amazing floristry skills and creativity of my cousins Linda Britton (nee Leghorn) whom I watch for hours on a regular day, so Thank you Linda for making me see my future even though I never knew it back then and for teaching my basic floristry skills as well as showing me what creations can be made with flowers.

My previous company The White Petal Company, Edinburgh which I had for over about 7 years and we catered for all occasions, a member of Interflora and became a Vera Wang designer of her floral range. I covered many events, wedding and corporate and offered a day events service for couple to ensure all their ideas we chatted about were staged throughout the day, a job I truly loved and wished I could expand but have two shops it was hard. My passion is truly events management and what goes with that role, and thats whyI have decided to start this new venture with DIAMOND EVENTS SCOTLAND.

Some, or my old staff might say most of the images shown on the site are there work but with it being my business and my constant creative input I need to take back some of that, but with the deepest respect of my amazing team over the years, even to those I've not mentioned but I know that you will know who you are.

I would like to pay homage to their talents and commitments to the business and their friendship back then and to this day, Alison Aitken, Louise Park, Kerry Macnamara as just a few and my amazing drivers Caroline Urquhart and Nigel. All of whom I have learnt a great deal from and vice versa as Kerry Macnamara has opened her own business Amaryllis Edinburgh, so if you are looking for a florist in that area, she is the lady that you have to go to. . . . . you might see similar images but we have shared the business designs. Sadly I have lost a lot of my sympathy work, but I am still looking at all options to try and retrieve it.

So we are here with the new business and I am so excited to be launching it very soon and to show off the showroom and the wedding hire images that will compliment the wedding packages. So I have still got a great deal of work to do before then so please do allow me this time.

Just now I would love it you can help me get my name and the Facebook page out there and the website is due to be launched very soon, which is exciting as well as all the business cards, brochures for all occasions being printed as we speak.
