Well Jed Crew were absolute stars* today because that seemed a super tough mash up this morning ๐Ÿ˜ฒ* see what I did with the photo there ๐Ÿ˜† A few wee nods to Pink in there since I'm super excited to be going to see her tomorrow ๐Ÿ™Š๐Ÿ˜ I may continue this mash up for the next week- you have been warned ๐Ÿ˜‚ Did you enjoy? St Boswells Friday Crew were missing a few lovely regulars today ๐Ÿ˜ฒ But we had a couple of new faces come and give the class a wee bash, thanks to Ailsa & Sarah for coming along this morning, a little faster than your usual Friday morning I'm guessing, so well done ladies ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Today's theme was courtesy of Jill, who joined me in saying "Shut Up And Squat" and by heck you did ๐Ÿ‘Š I saw grimaces aplenty this morning and a wee personal best sneaked in on the balance work ๐Ÿ˜„ nice one Sheena! Next week, it's the last class before my annual leave to rest my muscles and recharge ready for the summer sessions. Are you joining me?

On Fridays we Stretch & Flow with this fabulous 45 min format of PiYo. I keep it less complicated and slightly less intense than the standard PiYo class so that more people can experience the benefits this total fitness package brings โฃ๏ธ Newbies are welcome any time, just drop me a message. Fridays class is in St Boswells Village Hall at 9.45am and there's also a Tuesday class in Newtown Community Centre at 10.00am with a few spaces available for anyone wishing to try it out ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Tuesday's Newtown Crew- things are definitely looking up. The positioning, alignment and self correction is all coming together nicely. You're listening fantastically to set up cues and pushing further (gently and controlled ;) ) into those positions! We even managed to sneak in a few wee extra exercises because we don't need those demos now we're familiar with the exercises ๐Ÿ™Œ Very impressive folks. Time to add in some extra challenges perhaps? ๐Ÿค” Shall I see you next week? Not many booked ๐Ÿคท I'd LOVE for you to join me ๐Ÿค—

Did you know, to bring you your new PiYo release, for me, involves:
1hr to download the class video, overview video, notes and music.
1hr (when iTunes plays nice ๐Ÿ™„) to unzip the music files, upload them to iTunes and then upload to iPod (yes, it really takes that long on my old iPod on a good day๐Ÿคฆ)
... 1.5 hrs to watch the class video and overview video start to finish to see what's what.
1hr to then rewatch and take detailed notes that make sense to me! ๐Ÿคฃ
A MINIMUM of 2hrs depending on time available to listen to the music start to finish (it has been known for iTunes to download half a tune in the past ๐Ÿ™„).
A MINIMUM of an hour to run through the choreo and check the music phrasing and counts.
And finally, another hour to rewrite my notes to a compact shorthand that nobody else on this planet would understand ๐Ÿคฃ
7.5hrs MINIMUM to bring you one release ๐Ÿ˜ฒ I downloaded it this morning before class, and for straight back on it after lunch to bring this to you tonight. No wonder I'm pooped ๐Ÿ˜ฒ ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฆ
This is why I ask you PLEASE ๐Ÿ™ to keep me posted on your intentions for class whenever possible! I know it doesn't seem like it, but us instructors work hard to bring you the classes you enjoy and all we ask is for a two minute text or message to keep me in the loop ๐Ÿ˜Š

Well now Bozzy Crew, brand new week was started with a brand new release and I have to say I LOVE this one ๐Ÿ’ž Some new challenges to brain and body, but even so, I felt that went extremely smooth and you all picked it up fabulously ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ I know EXACTLY what you're all gonna be practicing at home....my new favourite move...now where's my gold paint ๐Ÿ˜† What did YOU think?

Monday morning crew- how did we find this morning's "not Zumba" class? ๐Ÿค” Certainly not the giggles of last week but lots of smiley faces walking out again ๐Ÿ˜ƒ (albeit cowboy style ๐Ÿ˜†). I think those are deceiving little blighters those bands aren't they? ๐Ÿ’ช My legs are thankful to get some rest time as I await my daughter's bus ๐Ÿ˜‚

So Jed, a little return to PiYo 39 for our early morning workout. I do like this round, how about you? We almost had those lunge rows nailed....so close ๐Ÿ™ˆ Lovely to finish the workout with a birthday brekkie for Liz- Happy Birthday next week Liz ๐ŸŽ‰ and next week is Jill's birthday, so we get to do it all over again ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Love getting to know you all a bit better ๐Ÿค— I finished off the lovely start to the day with a relaxing trip to the coast and some nature spotting (although the buzzard was last night's spy and son has his camera, all the rest were todays ๐Ÿ˜) So who's joining me next week in Jed?

St Boswells Friday Crew Wow, what a fab turnout today despite the festivities in Selkirk ๐Ÿ˜€ Was it just me or did that seem tougher today? Maybe I've just had a long week ๐Ÿคท Squats looking great, flow is looking elegant, core section DEFINETLY did exactly what it said on the tin AND.....I remembered those press ups ๐Ÿ˜‚ How did we fair this morning team?
