Dicksons Of Perth

Just bought our new caravan from norman at Dicksons. Really happy with the deal we got and the friendly staff were really helpful. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a caravan or motorhome.

We had to wait over 2 hours passed the pickup time for our motor home rental to be ready. They only told us when we got there and after we paid the deposit. Despite our complaints, they didn't even offer us a cup of tea. They said they had "no facility" - yes but their staff room had plenty! Oh but we could return in a bit later.

Even before we knew the van was going to be late we noticed that the staff appeared totally disinterested in customers. Three staff having a discussion and it took ages before they even acknowledged our standing presence. They seem to be oblivious or don't care that a dissatisfied customer will tell 5 others! Well I am up to five. Two of them had also used Dicksons and guess what? They also had poor service experiences!

Also be aware of their £750 deposit (insurance deductible). I had a mishap - cracked bumper - that I was charged £400 for. Fair enough and easy done for beginners like me. Next time I will look elsewhere!

Please be aware when you buy a van from here you check the service book.
We bought a brand new van in March of this year £38,000, only to find out in June it needs a full service £267,
Dixon's say a full service was done but they forgot to stamp the service book.
SO IT's MY PROBLEM

Also the van I exchanged is getting sold for £7000 more.

Excellent service. Extremely helpful and competent staff. Made the whole experience of purchasing a Motorhome a real pleasure.
