Hello, my lovely followers just to say that a number of new people are asking what to donate and what not to donate. We take basic toiletries such as shampoo and conditioner, shower gel or soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes, shave gel or foam, roll on or spray deodorants. More recently we have been giving wipes and dry shampoo as well to people who attend social bite, who may not have ready access to a shower. We don't ask for sanitary products because these are free now in many clinics, school, colleges etc also we don't give out razors as there is always risk attached when people are in real need. However, any we do receive are passed to the food bank. As always thank you for your kindness.

What a whirlwind we have experienced at Dignity Boxes as we reach month 6. We have 34 collection boxes across Edinburgh and West Lothian and 18 Dignity Boxes in organisations that work with people in poverty. That equates to 360 products a month going out all because you care! Thank you everyone who as donated we couldn't do it without you!
We have been shortlisted to one of three in the Enterprise category across the University and invited to celebrate at the Above and Beyond Awards
