Our first camp site of holiday and it set the standard for the rest of the week. Lovely based site. Facilities exceptionally clean. Lovely start to holiday. Wifi not working for younger ones but card games sorted that.
It's an extremely well run site, the toilet facilities spotlessly clean . I recon it's the best site in the area.
5*****.
Nice site and really friendly staff. Good dog walking nearby.
The site staff are brilliant they cannot do enough for you. Nothing is too much trouble. The site is well placed for a walk into town and a big Tesco and Lidl store's close. Inverness is 12 miles away and some lovely rides out await. The railway station is only a 5 minute walk from camp. The site is emaculate from the toilets to the pitches and grass areas. Well worth a visit.
The site is very well maintained in fact spotless. Toilets / facilities excellent.
A short stroll from the village with a good choice of shops. ( good location for sightseeing / exploring the area )
This site is probably suited best to motor home owners / caravaners.
If you require a more care free relaxing camping style holiday ( with kids ) then it is probably not suite to you. Wardens are rather keen and sometimes not at all helpful or understanding. The site is run like a money making military operation which therefore has good and bad points. IF YOU REQUIRE TO LENGTHEN YOUR STAY PLEASE LET THEM KNOW ASAP OR YOU WILL BE TOLD TO LEAVE ..... by non understanding or helpful wardens
For this reason alone we will not be going back
Typical Camping Club site. Well kept and well run. Nice location on the edge of Dingwall. Some early morning noise from dog walkers using the adjacent playing fields. Weekend football practice on causes some noise but didn't bother me. Discovered that the nearest pub, The Mallard, allows dogs, so that made me happy. Paths into town and out to the point start outside the entrance. Dingwall is not a beach destination as the Cromarty Firth at this end is heavily silted up.
Great place to stay plenty of space for kids to play
Lovely friendly atmosphere. Good staff. Easy to find.
This a great site that has been superbly up graded since 2015. Facilities are clean, well looked after and a joy to use. I would recommend the site to anyone looking for a base to explore the north east of scotland.
Excellent site, very very nice wardens friendly chatty and helpful.
Our pitch was brilliant, our dog had never heard a train before so he had a few barks at them as they passed by.
Nice walks whether you are a dog owner or not, there is a country path into the town, where once again all shops we were in the staff very friendly.A+++++ to Dingwall..
