Discover Drums offers fun and flexible drumming tuition for beginners of all ages, conveniently located between St Andrews and Cupar.

Discover Drums, based in the St Andrews area, was formed by experienced and respected working drummer James Gorgon.
After a musical career spanning nearly 40 years James has had the opportunity to record and play live gigs with the finest of musicians around the world.

With over 14 albums to his credit and numerous television and radio appearances, as well as several major tours including North America, Middle East, Thailand, Uganda and Europe, his experience speaks for itself.

James’ goal is to help students become the best drummers they can be, but most importantly to help them have fun and enjoy drumming.

If you are looking to discover drumming as a hobby, or more seriously, Discover Drums provides flexible and versatile lessons to cater to individual students.

Discover Drums provides the start of a musical journey which includes: all styles of drumming, recording and sound techniques, tuning and set ups, sight reading, rudiments, play along tracks and playing with other drummers as part of a percussion ensemble, if required.

James has a complete drum studio at his home which is available for all lessons with the latest in equipment fully set up. Lessons can also be carried out by prior arrangement in the convenience of your own home.
