We went for 3 days isle of Skye tour with Stuart, our guide.It was a great experience to discover many beautiful places in Scottish highlands and the islands.Stuart was very informative and explained the history associated with the important monuments lucidly.However we could not visit the wine distillery as the booking was not done in time.That would be the only negative point about this fabulous trip.Nevertheless I would definitely recommend this tour to others.

We took the three day Isle of Skye tour with Discover Scotland Tours.

John was our guide, my first impression was (We’re going to get into a van with this big Scottish guy with a long goatee and a thick accent, what are we in for?)

I learned that day. NEVER judge a book by his cover!

He is very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and funny.

We love his thick accent and he speaks Gaelic, he even attempted to teach us some. Sorry to say we were not very good students. He has a real passion for Scotland and it shows.

After three days he was more like family then our tour guide.

The day after this tour we did a one day tour with another company. It was fine but halfway through the tour we looked at each other and said “We miss John!”

Give discover Scotland tours a chance you won’t regret it and if you can request John.

We took Oban, Western Highlands, Lochs, Castles and Glencoe tour.

Even though the weather was very rainy Fraser and Eilish both were very very enthusiastic and very well prepared. A very nice surprise was to see that your tour leader documented himself about our native country. Regarding the infos on the geography and the history of the places we visited they both shared with us outstanding facts (and please believe us that we usually document ourselves a lot on the places we're visiting).

Hats off Fraser and Eilish!

Regarding the tour from my pov there are two important facts: the visitors should check whether the Castles (Inveraray and Dunstaffnage) are open on their visit day (in case it is important for them) and the best whisky to buy is in Oban (the distillery has good prices :) )



For sure i'll recommend your tour to all my friends interested in visiting Scotland.

Outstanding experience for our family (including two teens) on the 3 day Isle of Skye tour. Dal was our guide and just a fantastic guy. Smart, efficient, knowledgeable, witty, and friendly he was the perfect guide. The land was amazing and he made the most of our visit. When weather plans forced a late cancellation of a planned boat tour he was able to arrange a back-up plan of a distillery tour and really add to our experience. Lodging was great - provided by others but arranged through the tour group. Great place to visit and this was a great way to experience it.

My sister and I had an amazing time on the 3 day winter Isle of Skye tour! Our tour guide Cliff told lots of great stories about the places we visited, and sometimes played Scottish music as we drove through the stunning highlands. The weather for our day on Skye was dreadful but the guide made the most of it. Only thing I'd suggest is not to pick the hostel option as the place we stayed in Broadford was not clean, had terrible showers and patchy wifi. Thanks for a great whirlwind tour otherwise!

My best friend and I have booked the One Day Coach Tour 'Oban, Western Highlands, Lochs, Castles & Glencoe' for 12 March 2016. It was such a very wonderful and interesting day trip from the beginning. Scotland is so indescribably beautiful. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t very good. But our tour guide Grant has done such a fantastic job ... all the information about the places, all the stories he told us and all the breaks and possibilities for photography’s – a perfect day.

We can only recommend these tours really. They are very individual and personal.

It's difficult to put into words how amazing our experience was. Stuart was our guide and he was knowledgeable, personable, and entertaining. This tour definitely made our trip to Scotland a memorable vacation. Can't wait to visit Scotland again!

I had an amazing 3 day tour to Skye in April.

From the moment I went on the coach our driver guide Garry was very welcoming and made everyone feel at ease. The history I learned from our Guide was mind blowing and Scotlands scenery was out of this world. There was music played to enhance the experience of the scenery on the tour. The accomodation was excellent. Thanks again for a wonderful experience I would definately recommend and will be going again if possible and I would certainly not be dissappointed if Garry was our guide again.

I can't believe it's already been a week since the fabulous 3 day Highlands and Skye Tour. Scotland is indeed a magical place with its stunning mountains, lochs, castles and ever changing sky. I loved every second of this tour, every inch of land & water, every drop of rain, not to mention the rainbows! Our driver/guide Fraser McSorley made this tour an unforgettable experience with his historic and legendary accounts, the selection of Scottish music, tea towel maps and extra stops for quick photos. He was professional, entertaining and extremely polite at all times. He was always ready to go the extra mile and show off the beauties of this wonderful country. I highly recommend this tour to everyone, especially those who have limited time, but want to see the most stunning places in that area of Scotland :)

Despite some unfavorable weather conditions, it was a joyful and uneventful tour, part of our second honeymoon.



We could not have asked for a better guide - and driver - than Helen. We were extremely impressed with her knowledge, energy and cheerful attitude, even after talking and driving for some impossible roads for so many hours every day.



The 3 Day Isle of Skye tour was very different than the one we took in a big bus 21 years ago, during our original honeymoon. We found that being able to go into the tiny roads in the Scotland countryside, by means of a smaller van, allows for a better appreciation of the beautiful landscape and the culture of the people that lives in the nostalgic ambience of the Highlands.



We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting this wonderful place.

Absolutely amazing tour, with a very knowledgeable guide, Andy was excellent in every aspect, he knew loads about Scottish history, had a great sense of humour, and drove almost really well lol Andy :) I would 10 out of 10 recommend this company to anyone wanting to explore Scotland :) remember to add the Guinness part :) Gwyn ddu brewery :)
