We travel all the way down from the outer hebradies and have nothing but high praise for discovery aquatics, we stop by everything we pass with a stunning selection of fish and great range of products and knowledge, managed to source me a juwel Rio 400 within two days of asking! Kris is very knowledgeable and always happy to talk and help us out with packing our fish for 12 hours transportation, never lost a fish and always great selection! Can't wait to come down and see the new and improved store. Keep up the great positive work, your loyal customers appreciate it all

Was in the shop today and cant fault the service I recieved. Came away with new fish and the member of staff that served me was very helpful and friendly.

Visited today to restock our cold fish tank for Oliver's new tank set up and Brian was great catching each individual fish that I wanted. Always happy to give advice and very friendly. Especially liked the new decorations part of the shop and grabbed a new decoration whilst I was in as well. Best shop around and will no doubt be back with Oliver to show him more fish :)

Took in fish today as I was changing my tank set up. Came away with a good mix of fish good service and communication when setting up to bring the fish in.

Started back in the hobby after a few years absence and found Discovery Aquatics so thought I'd take a drive up and check them out. I have now purchased an aquarium and other products from them and cannot say a bad word against them. They know what they are talking about and are very helpful.

Second time we've been in and still amazing! Bought our first lot of fish and the start of many more in the near future! We got our questions answered, and advice given and great service! We will recommend anybody for a must see buying or not!

Recently purchased a new tank from Discovery Aquatics. Chris arrange to install the backing panels inside the tank before delivery. The tank was delivered and installled at a time that suited us both. Great products and service. Highly recommended 👍

I used to keep tropical fish but haven't for years until I got a new tank a couple of months ago as a birthday present from my family.

Have spent a great few weeks settings things up + on repeated visits to Discovery Aquatics I have been very impressed by the shop + brilliant aquarium displays.

Good choice of healthy fish, clean tanks and everything else you could want - plants, rocks, food, etc.

Have angels, guppies, neons, khuli loaches, platys + a bristle nosed plec.

All doing so well that I now have a whole bunch of baby platys..!

I have set up a Clearseal Reefspace 900 marine aquarium as an upgrade to my Aqua one aqua reef 195, Discovery Aquatics supplied the new tank, sump and cabinet which should have cost over £800 but which they gave to me for only £495, the Arcadia Series 6 led's should have been £700, they gave them to me for £499.99 I also received a discount on all the other equipment that I required, I have made a saving of around £600.00 So, if your considering a new set up or are new to the fish husbandry hobby then I definitely recommend that you go to Discovery Aquatics first and see what kind of deal they can do for you.

Can't understand negative comments about this store. I have used this shop many, many times and travel from Aberdeen to visit. It is one, if not the best fish shop in Scotland. I keep marines and have bought lots of fish and corals from this shop. Always good quality livestock, tanks when I visit are always clean and a good selection of healthy looking fish and corals. Kris, the owner has always been courteous and helpful to me. I have also bought a lot of hardware and equipment too, he'll price match any Internet price I have ever been quoted, and I have often received discounts for customer loyalty. Always receive a speedy response when I ask a question via email on their website.

On a personal note to Kris, I wouldn't let the few people who leave unfair and poor reviews bother you, the vast majority of positive reviews speak for themselves, and you'll better off without these type of persons custom.

Can't rate these guys high enough. Ive been running my tank about a year now and have had ups and downs with degrees of success but the staff here have always been on hand to offer great advise and answer any questions ive had. Only recently have ordered in plants Ive wanted that they dont normally stock. Will continue to use this shop and will always be my first recomendation to anyone looking for fish ect.

By far the best fish store in Scotland. Helpful, highly intelligent staff members and excellent pricing (that can't be matched even closely by any store I've been to) on healthy fish (I've bought most of my fish from here, and every single one of them have been absolutely healthy). Would absolutely recommend this store, it's the only one I go to, And will continue to be so.

No other store can match this stores pricing, knowledge and quality of stock.

Bought alot from here over the past year or so. Always happy to give help and advice. Good stock of fish, CUC and corals.

All the staff are amazingly helpful and friendly - they're able to help you with any troubleshooting when you encounter issues and are super knowledgeable! The shop itself is fantastic - the fish are so well looked after and receive a good quality of care while in the shop. All the fish are quarantined when they come in to avoid any tank mishaps and so you can be sure that any fish you get from here are top notch - the range is massive too so you won't be disappointed fed by the choice!

I have set up a Clearseal Reefspace 900 marine aquarium as an upgrade to my Aqua one aqua reef 195, Discovery Aquatics supplied the new tank, sump and cabinet which should have cost over £800 but which they gave to me for only £495, the Arcadia Series 6 led's should have been £700, they gave them to me for £499.99 I also received a discount on all the other equipment that I required, I have made a saving of around £600.00 So, if your considering a new set up or are new to the fish husbandry hobby then I definitely recommend that you go to Discovery Aquatics first and see what kind of deal they can do for you.

Can't understand negative comments about this store. I have used this shop many, many times and travel from Aberdeen to visit. It is one, if not the best fish shop in Scotland. I keep marines and have bought lots of fish and corals from this shop. Always good quality livestock, tanks when I visit are always clean and a good selection of healthy looking fish and corals. Kris, the owner has always been courteous and helpful to me. I have also bought a lot of hardware and equipment too, he'll price match any Internet price I have ever been quoted, and I have often received discounts for customer loyalty. Always receive a speedy response when I ask a question via email on their website.

On a personal note to Kris, I wouldn't let the few people who leave unfair and poor reviews bother you, the vast majority of positive reviews speak for themselves, and you'll better off without these type of persons custom.

Can't rate these guys high enough. Ive been running my tank about a year now and have had ups and downs with degrees of success but the staff here have always been on hand to offer great advise and answer any questions ive had. Only recently have ordered in plants Ive wanted that they dont normally stock. Will continue to use this shop and will always be my first recomendation to anyone looking for fish ect.

By far the best fish store in Scotland. Helpful, highly intelligent staff members and excellent pricing (that can't be matched even closely by any store I've been to) on healthy fish (I've bought most of my fish from here, and every single one of them have been absolutely healthy). Would absolutely recommend this store, it's the only one I go to, And will continue to be so.

All the staff are amazingly helpful and friendly - they're able to help you with any troubleshooting when you encounter issues and are super knowledgeable! The shop itself is fantastic - the fish are so well looked after and receive a good quality of care while in the shop. All the fish are quarantined when they come in to avoid any tank mishaps and so you can be sure that any fish you get from here are top notch - the range is massive too so you won't be disappointed fed by the choice!

We travel all the way down from the outer hebradies and have nothing but high praise for discovery aquatics, we stop by everything we pass with a stunning selection of fish and great range of products and knowledge, managed to source me a juwel Rio 400 within two days of asking! Kris is very knowledgeable and always happy to talk and help us out with packing our fish for 12 hours transportation, never lost a fish and always great selection! Was in the shop today and cant fault the service I recieved. Came away with new fish and the member of staff that served me was very helpful and friendly.

Visited today to restock our cold fish tank for Oliver's new tank set up and Brian was great catching each individual fish that I wanted. Always happy to give advice and very friendly. Especially liked the new decorations part of the shop and grabbed a new decoration whilst I was in as well. Best shop around and will no doubt be back with Oliver to show him more fish :)

Took in fish today as I was changing my tank set up. Came away with a good mix of fish good service and communication when setting up to bring the fish in.

Started back in the hobby after a few years absence and found Discovery Aquatics so thought I'd take a drive up and check them out. I have now purchased an aquarium and other products from them and cannot say a bad word against them. They know what they are talking about and are very helpful.

Recently purchased a new tank from Discovery Aquatics. Chris arrange to install the backing panels inside the tank before delivery. The tank was delivered and installled at a time that suited us both. Great products and service. Highly recommended 👍

I used to keep tropical fish but haven't for years until I got a new tank a couple of months ago as a birthday present from my family.

Have spent a great few weeks settings things up + on repeated visits to Discovery Aquatics I have been very impressed by the shop + brilliant aquarium displays.

Good choice of healthy fish, clean tanks and everything else you could want - plants, rocks, food, etc.

Have angels, guppies, neons, khuli loaches, platys + a bristle nosed plec.

All doing so well that I now have a whole bunch of baby platys..!
