In the beginning. . . .
From humble beginnings as a roadie in the 60's for top local bands such as Poor Souls (Dougie Martin) and the vikings (later becoming The Average White Band) to personal manager to The Rite Time (Stuart Cuthbert, later to marry Sandra from Brotherhood of Man fame). After meeting the areas top promoter at that time (Andy Lothian Jnr) who first booked The Beatles in the Caird Hall - Dundee; I was suddenly working with all the top bands who Andy booked to appear in his famous dance hall known as The Top Ten Club, or The Pally to the locals. With great names as Spencer Davis, The Searchers, The Tremelo's, Lulu, Cat Stevens and even The Bee Gees to name but a few.
After a tour of Germany inclusing the famous Star Club where The Beatles were discovered, I had the pleasure of meeting a selection of great groups like Chicken Shack, Richie Blackmore of Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin fame.
It was my early days as a roadie that Andy gave me all the driving jobs. I was the only one who had a van and that allowed me the pleasure of meeting Robert Plant when I toured Scotland with his group The Band of Joy.
After years as a Roadie and Manager it was my progression into the world of promoting that became my pedigree and my full time occupation. I have handled some of the top named bands on tour including a great selection of tribute bands.
Our office also organises events for pubs, clubs, theatres, concert halls, wedding parties and corporate functions. We supply top musicians and bands for the area , personally selected to make your night out one to remember.
All of our promotions include a full marketing campaign including posters, flyers and the local media (radio, newspapers etc). We can provide full P. A systems and light shows to suit all of your requirements. We also have professional engineers and sound operators.
We are available 24 /7 with a full emergency contact list should disaster strike as it so often can.
