Went on the titanic experience trip sat 26th of September and have to save was a wonderful day out which represents extra value for money. Our coach driver Louis was great managing to keep everyone happy despite a delay on the way home ( which was outside of dodd's control )

We loved it and will likely book the weekend stay with dodd's next time!

We hired a coach to take 49 of us down to Manchester for the boys football team day out. Great service, fantastic coach, cracking drivers and at a brilliant price.

Absolutely delighted with our experience with Dodds and will definitely be calling them again when our next trip comes around.

The day was really long...starting at 8.15am and ending at 12.30pm but it was worth it. The coach was on time and the drivers were excellent. You knew exactly where you were going and what time you needed to be back for so you wouldnt get left behind! Our driver Louie was brilliant and had loads of snippets to tell us about Belfast and the Titanic. You could tell he loved his job and his guests and you felt like you were in good hands...he even told us where to go to get the best views of the ferry being launched for our wee boy to watch. The ferry itself was comfortable albiet there is some waiting about to dock and board however you dont get up or check in...the driver does all that for you. When we arrived in Belfast we got into town for good time however hit Gay Pride in full swing...meaning we were held back by about 45 minutes letting people off in town for the city tours due to detours. My only critism would be that those going to the titanic could be dropped off first as you pass it to get to town, but I think its all one way anyway so it wouldnt be possible. When we arrived at the museum Louie went in to get our tickets and a tour guide came on board to welcome us which was lovely. When you get in to the museum you get your picture taken and then go up some escalators to start your experience. The museum itself is mainly interactive with loads of information on how the ships were built and stuff. There arent any genuine artefacts from the Titanic..other than some letters and a menu which we were dissappointed in however this was more to do with our expectations (based on the Florida museum) and not the exhibition itself. A word of warning though...you only get (at most) 2hrs 45mins to go round it all so dont forget to go outside and visit the Nomadic and the launch area. We ran out of time and were absolutely gutted we have to leave it out. The coach left the Titanic at 5 and we heading back into town to collect everyone else. You get an hr and a half to wander around the city square before the bus leaves. Again, my only critism here is that the shops are kind of all shutting at this point. The city hall has stopped its tours and theres only one nearby bar (I think) so we ventured up to Burger King and then back down. Our journey back was just as pleasant and although it was a long long day it was really enjoyable and definitely value for money. Id really recommend it to anyone....and Louie deserves a special mention for adding that bit extra on to our day!

Thankyou to driver Robert who's safe driving, info on points of interest onroute and general attentiveness to his passengers made a rainy trip to Lake Windemere really enjoyable.

Will definitely be booking again soon .

Never booked a day excursion through Dodds of Troon and I can say I will definitely be booking other day trips. Had a fantastic day out in Belfast yesterday with my friend. Our coach driver (Louie I'm sure his name was) was absolutely fantastic, dedicated to his job which I'm sure yous will be happy about. He was very specific with times to be back at coach and gave everyone plenty of time to get on the coach before we set off again. An asset to your company! Thanks Louie for making our journey enjoyable! Hope to see you driving on my next day excursion :)

My 8 year old son and I booked the Belfast/titanic experience trip for last Saturday as the titanic is his school topic just now and had such an amazing day! Everything from the pick up to the drop off at the end was very well organised, the drivers we had made the experience even better! They had great knowledge of Belfast and the titanic experience and were more than happy to answer any questions we had! Will definitely do this trip again, thanks for giving my son his 'best afternoon ever!!!'

User

Just back from an overnight trip to Newcastle overnight. Our driver Martin was brilliant & timings were spot on so got home nice & early. Nothing was a bother, was so helpful. Would highly recommend Dodds.

User

Had a wonderful Holiday in Pitlochry.

Fishers Hotel lovely also food.

Really enjoyed the day tour to Braemar and Ballater on Tuesday and the tour to St Andrews and Anstruther on Thursday. The scenery was beautiful.

Pitlochry is a lovely wee town with plenty of nice wee shops and of course Hettys Tearoom which serves very good food.

George our driver was very good and also Michelle who took us from Kilmarnock to Cairnryan and over to Belfast.

The Enchanted Forest is beautiful, we really enjoyed it.

So if anybody is reading this review, please book your Holiday with Dodds who look after you very well. They pick you up in your local town and you do not have to worry about anything. The drivers are very good, was nice to see John in Kilmarnock or whatever town it was on Monday morning when he brought passengers to the coach. We had John last year and he is very good.

If you get Del Boy he will sing to you. He is very helpful.

Thank you to Dodds for everything.

Went to Isle of Man with Dodds. Had been advised that Hotel was a bit dated but I could find no faults at all. No set dining time and food was delicious. Staff very friendly and helpful. Graham, our driver, was excellent. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and a very courteous driver. Would recommend this trip to anyone.

Very very dissappointed in dodds of troon. Booked a day away to Edinburgh. Planned to meet friends. Booked the city tour bus paid. Got a phone call 4 days before due to go to say trip had been cancelled due to lack of interest. Feel very let down by a bus company who should honour bookings. Buy a smaller coach for occasions like this. Wont be using you again in a hurry. I am a good customer been to ireland tour twice. Edinburgh and varous other. Feeling very let down

User

We have been on lots of coach tours with different companies and the Seabury hotel we stayed in Devon has definitely been the worst. We read the reviews before we booked and expected a good hotel. First nights dinner was supposed to be beef hotpot and what we got was mince with some sliced potatoes on top which either burnt or so dried out you couldn't eat them vegetables were over cooked carrots and cabbage decided second night to take salad and play safe we were told everything was home made this was the poorest salad I have ever had coleslaw was cheap supermarket kind salad very basic and we got two small potatoes with it. We had a sign in room saying there was a charge of £2 for replacement towels and if you wanted extra teabags you had to get them from the vending machine. Hotels on stopover had poor reviews but we're very good as was tours and driver.
