Dolphin Fish & Chip Shop

Absolutely by far the best fish and chips I have ever had! Beautiful light crispy batter, tender flavoursome fish, with lovely crispy chips, and the curry sauce was the final beautiful touch, flavour and heat just right, with the texture spot on! Rare to find a place that ticks all the boxes, but this place has raised the standards across the board! Yum! Thank you!!

Awful food. Waited 10 minutes for a "fresh"
Haddock yesterday and when it came it was a tiny portion, chips were like cardboard and the service surly. I only ate it as I was starving, otherwise not fit for a dog. Complete rip off at £7

I used to order from this place for a while. Good service and tasty food.
Last time I ordered kebab and fish. Fish was excellent. Kebab was TOTALLY COLD. With some extra hair.. No more kebabs from this place, sorry. :(

Hands down the worst fish & chips ever. They were also overpriced (£7.10 incl. ketchup) The 'cod' fish came as two small square shaped pieces – one piece was smaller than a fish cake. Batter was very soggy with no crisp edges. The entire batter slipped off one piece before a bite was taken. Chips were also a VERY small portion and dripping with oil. Ketchup was charged at £0.50 each and was the cheap vinegary type. At this price I'd expect better ketchup.
Will never go back to this place.

I recommend cod and chips. Cooked for you while you wait and the result was lovely. Straight forward good.
