Well the cat is out the bag, our Kesslet has had a beautiful baby, let’s hope she stayed healthy amd happy like her mum and big brother Charlie. What a brilliant photo @dolphinchaz #dolphinspirit #dolphinspiritinverness #inverness #highlands #scotland #bbctravel #guardiantravelsnaps #dolphins @ Dolphin Spirit Inverness

Look at how cute our wee toot is, I know we are bias but aren’t baby dolphins just incredible 🐬 Welcome to the world littlest ones ❤️

User

Okay, yes we are rubbish at keeping secrets so we are just going to let this one out the bag. KESSLET HAS HAD A BABY! I repeat KESSLET HAS HAD A BABY!!
The little one was spotted here with Mum and seems so be energetic, cheeky and full of life! This video is of baby less than 30 minutes old, how amazing!!! The cruiser spotted Kesslet by herself at 10 o’clock and then the rib saw her at 10:30 with a very special arrival. We are thrilled to bits and hoping that wee one continu...es to be happy and healthy. Once again KESSLET HAS HAD A BABY!!!
Book your tickets because we are going to sell out 🐬

User

Eek, Dolphin Spirit has some very exciting new for you but we are keeping it a secret for just a little bit longer! So stay tuned to our Facebook posts for something we know that you want to know!! We got sent this photo by Suki, the owner of Toffee, the beautiful doggie in this pic who remarked that Stevie looked nearly as good as Toffee does, well Suki, we quite agree!!

User

Fantastic wee video sent in by Maggie, aren’t our dolphins beautiful?? 🐬

We want to tell you a little about our two different boat trips, first we have the Dolphin Spirit 🐬 The Dolphin Spirit is a 65 person cruiser vessel, it always has at least two (if busy three) members of staff on, one skipper, who has the fun job of driving the boat. One guide who will try and spot the dolphins with the passengers whilst giving entertaining commentary about the dolphins, local wildlife and other bits about the area. The third member of staff is a helper-oute...r to make sure everyone is happy and enforces safety on busy sailings. This boat has a limit of 18 on the upper deck and we have to enforce this for stability reasons. It is fully wheelchair assessable and our staff aim to accommodate anyone on board. But the most exciting this is that it takes you out to see our resident dolphins, Kesslet, Charlie and sometimes Scoopy! These dolphins are very used to our boat so often come right up to say hello 😃 This trip lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Next we have the Dolphin Mischief 🐬 This is a fast 12 seater boat that travels all the way out to the famous Chanory Point Light House and beyond! This trip is fun, thrilling and jam packed! You have one skipper on board who will give you little bits and bobs of interesting information whilst on the look out for dolphins! But make sure you book fast because it does sell out!
As a company we aim to provide something for everybody and we hope this two trips do so, visit our website for more information and help booking tickets. Also feel free to message us on Facebook, follow us on Instagram and Twitter!

Some footage from the Dolphin Mischief yesterday 🐬

User

Dolphin Spirit customers received quite the show from Charlie & Kesslet on the 10am sailing today!

User

Looks like the dolphins were enjoying the bow waves when Mischief caught up with the Lady Arianne yesterday.

User

Some of our favourite pictures from July! Thank you very much for all of our amazing customers, dolphins, dogs, skippers and many more who have contributed to one of the best months ever! Good luck to all Belladrum, Black Isle Show and Moy Games goers, we hope you have a brilliant weekend 🐬🐶🧔🏻📸🌈💃🏻

User

Guests on board the 12pm sailing o Dolphin Spirit managed to catch these fantastic photos of cheeky Charlie! Thank you to Jork and Anne for sending these in to us 🐬🐬

User

Lovely picture of Spirtle alongside Dolphin Mischief the other day - thanks to Krystyna Hayes for taking this fabulous picture 📸🐬
Spirtle had unfortunately been caught in mudflats a few years ago, and got extremely sunburnt. By chance, some tourists found Spirtle and contacted the relevant authorities who then helped refloat her. It was unsure what the outcome would be as the sunburn was so severe, however as you can see, Spirtle has made a miraculous recovery! 🐬
The second image is by Charlie Phillips/ WDC, taken only a few days ago, and the third is an image of Spirtle not long after being sunburnt.

User

Skipper Alan called our office in total disbelief when he was lucky enough to spot this beautiful baby! Good luck to the new Mum and hope we can see you again tomorrow 🐬

User

We had a visit from around 10 dolphins on the Dolphin Spirit this morning - here are a few 🐬🐬🐬

User

We have recieved some lovely images from customers on Dolphin Spirit recently, here are some that James Ritchie took whilst on board! 🐬🐬

User

Wonderful experience! Dolphins put on a great show and staff was very friendly and helpful. Thank you to John for taking us out this afternoon!

User

We’ve done both the Spirit and Mischief boat trips and enjoyed both equally in their own way. Our 5 and 3 year old boys had a great time and all the staff were wonderful with them. We were lucky enough to see a mum and calf by Fort George when we did the Mischief trip and I even think I caught a glimpse of the sea eagle on the way back to the marina. Highly recommend.

User

We went out on the Dolphin Spirit today and had an ace time! We spotted a dolphin and Sue, our guide, was great; loads of local knowledge and advice. Thanks everyone 😀

User

We had a lovely family day out.

Friendly helpful staff and very knowledgeable about the residence in the Moray Firth. Saw some dolphins to the children’s delights and enjoyed the stunning scenery not visible from the shore lines.

Highly recommend this little adventure.

User

We had a great trip on the Dolphin Mischief yesterday. We saw many dolphins, including a mother and calf, out beyond Fort George and saw many, many seals on the sand banks. We were greeted by Kesslet the dolphin as we approached the Kessock Bridge on our return to the marina. A great trip - thanks to the Dolphin Spirit & Dolphin Mischief team!

User

Took my 3 year old son on today for his birthday treat he had such a great time so did myself and his granny. The staff are so lovely and welcoming. Since it was my son’s birthday he was asked if he would like to be captain and drive the boat a little. Thank you so much.

User

Love the fact they respect the dolphins space. Friendly and informative staff on a well maintained craft. We will be booking again.

User

Had an absolutely amazing trip out on the mischief yesterday. Would recommend it to anyone really was an unforgettable experience thank you so much

User

Had a wonderful time out on the Dolphin Mischief today. The skipper Gus and all the shore crew were very friendly and informative made the experience very enjoyable. Would definitely recommend it. A bonus to also see the dolphins making some appearances.

User

Great wee boat trip. Went on Tuesday 10th July with my son and husband. As we were coming back in Charlie made an appearance. Worth the trip even tho you are not guaranteed a sighting. Would recommend.

User

Great trip today, really friendly staff with loads of local knowledge, got the mini bus to the boat which was really convenient and the driver even gave us some tips of local places to see, unfortunately saw no dolphins but the scenery certainly made up for it, would definitely come again

User

Geat trip, scenery was spectacular and made up for no seals or dolphins. The crew were really friendly and very knowledgeable making the trip definitely worth doing again. Would certainly recommend it to our friends to do.

User

Fantastic trip today, managed to get a glimpse of a dolphin as we Left the the harbour. Fantastic guide by sue! We had the dog with us and was made to feel very welcome, will definitely be going back

User

Fabulous tour on 9th July, the sun was shining, the tour guide was knowledgable and entertaining, a real sense of teamwork with the captain and respect for the wildlife. And we saw dolphins, one of whom came right up to the boat to say hello! I highly recommend this tour.

User

Excellent boat trip with a spectacular scenery and a lovely staff. As a dog people loved that we could travel with our dog, was made to feel very welcome. Our guide, Sue was very helpful, funny and had great local knowledge. And I was surprised that I met another Yvette in Scotland :)) Yvette was so friendly as well.

A massive thank you for this wonderful experience.

User

Definitely a highlight of our trip to Scotland. Our tour guide Sue not only made sure we saw dolphins and grey seals, but filled us in on the history of the area and the personal history of the dolphins who swim in and out of Moray Firth as well. Highly recommended!

User

Brilliant! We did the “Dolphin Mischief” RIB boat trip on Friday - saw loads of dolphins and seals and had a super time. Can’t recommend Dolphin Spirit highly enough!

User

Although we were unlucky and didn't see the dolphins on our mischief trip, we had a fantastic time. It was well worth every penny! The guide/driver was very helpful and had great local knowledge. We did see the seals on the trip which was brilliant. The guide told us a few viewing points on land for the dolphins and we were lucky enough to be treated to some pretty close encounters with the dolphins at Chanonry poin.

A massive thank you to you all for adding that something special to our visit.

Highly recommend a trip on Mischief!!!!

User

A huge thank you to all the wonderful staff at Dolphin Spirit! The kids had a lovely tour and the face painting was fab too!! Xx
