We rarely buy steak but decided to get a mixed pack from Donald Russell. Fantastic. Haven't tasted meat so good for decades.

Chicken, salmon, lamb and pork also fabulous. Would recommend them highly.

WOW WOW WOW. I just had the most amazing delivery arrive. A fabulous 5kg turkey, ready to roast potatoes, pigs in blankets, bacon, christmas pudding and more. I liked and shared the Donald Russell facebook page and I won the Christmas day dinner competition. The turkey is in the fridge being defrosted as we speak. Thank you guys. We will have a beautiful lunch. Merry Christmas to you all. <3

The products are absolutely lovely. The fillet steak was so good , the best I’ve had in a long time.

Just received my first selection and was so impressed by the quality I have just placed a further order. The beef especially was so succulent and full of flavour. Can't wait to try the next batch.

Just got my 2nd order from DR. I was a bit sceptical about the beef olives, but i have to admit that they were simply superb. The fillet steak is some of the best ibe ever had and im looking forward to having the mini pot roasts and duck legs. Simply put, quality all the way.

I've ordered various times with DR but felt the need to say a BIG thank you for such a spectacular piece of beef that we enjoyed Christmas Day. It was an easy carve fillet and after dusting with seasoned flour I seared it for 15 minutes and then roasted for a further 25 minutes with a resting time of 25 minutes. Every single person that had it, without exception, said it was hands down the best beef they'd tried and that included two pro chefs!!! Will be ordering this again and again but will be getting the larger piece as I want as much as possible ���

I was a lucky competition winner and received ribeye steak burgers, alpine fries and white chocolate and ginger cheesecakes. The burgers were divine! So tasty and you can really taste the quality of the beef. The chips were gorgeous I am a chip lover and I have to say these were among the best chips I've ever tasted. And as for the cheesecakes they were beautiful, creamy and delicious, the kind of dessert you'd expect at a top notch restaurant. Thank you so much I'll look forward to placing an order with you for a special occasion. ��xx

I opted to purchase the Beef Wellington dinner for 2 around Christmas, to have in the freezer for a special occasion or as a treat to myself - I've had one of the Wellingtons this evening and I was literally blown away by the quality of this product. The best Beef Wellington I've ever tasted. A faultless service from ordering to delivery and will be purchasing again. Thank you �

I have only just tried the dr hot pot pies but they truly are to die for the pastry is beautiful and the contents nice and lean and flavoursome shore you may have to pay a little more but it is brought very carefully packaged all the way from Scotland to your door you cant beat that surely

I didn't order.. I had someone else's delivery come to mine by accident (very similar name of flats in same road EVERYONE gets confused) because it was late and couldnt take it over I chucked it in my freezer ready to take the next day to the customer and called Ronald russell to make them aware...they told me to keep it and sent another one out the correct address straight away. Anyway I must write a review to say how amazing it Was!! We had the beef sirloin Christmas day..it was so tender and beautiful taste!! We will order ourselves again for a special occasion. It was a lovely treat to the usual meat we buy !

I buy DR meat usually when I see a special offer. The staff are friendly and helpful and the meat is delicious if expensive. I have to say the Jacobs ladder is one of our favourites. So I always keep one in the freezer for the Sundays my husband and I want a roast dinner but not the left overs. The Jacobs ladder never disappoints. We are also big fans of the confet Duck legs.

And so tasty my husband doesn’t like turkey much and he said it was the best Christmas dinner he’s ever had. We will be ordering again very soon. Customer service has been outstanding!!

As a London Customer for 3 years, I have never had anything to complain about.

I recently had trouble proving I was not a robot for an online question. This took some time to no avail and I wasn’t happy with the way I was dealt with when I telephoned about this. All I wanted was to report that I kept getting blocked by this robot thing, though I answered the question correctly - and to check how to cook skate. I have used DR products for many years, always excellent, but this was very disappointing and I am really quite astounded as I thought they were better than this. None of this would have happened if a simple list of cooking instructions - not a recipe - had been included in the first place e.g. temp and time required.

Utterly awful and only fit for the bin. I wouldn't even offer it to the dog. The meat was completely dry and looked like it had been previously frozen for some time. I'd recommend another company or even buying from a supermarket. You'd get much better quality..

Last Christmas I had a lovely pot roast from Donald Russel so I ordered a shin of beef for this year. On arrival (19th December) it looked small and dry, so I emailed Donald Russell. I have not had a response.

I followed the video advice on cooking. The video described plenty of fat and juices and that there would be a very rich stock for the gravy. The meat was very dry, there were no juices and I had to add stock to try and keep it juicy. I ended up having to make powder gravy. There was enough meat but it was not very special at all. I'm glad I cooked a turkey crown as well as everyone filled up on that. We did not bother to keep the beef remains for sandwiches.

Just had my second meal-box delivery cold call this week. This time it was Hello Fresh. Yesterday it was Donald Russell. The special offers are only available on the phone. They are unable to confirm in writing or by email what the details are yet they expect me to sign up for £24.99 x2 payments for Hello Fresh or £49.99 for DonaldR for something that they won't put in print. I'm annoyed that they waste my time. They need better Marketers in my opinion � #marketingfail.

I am so disappointed - stayed in all day for an order made with this company and guess what no delivery meat box sitting at delivery agents and they have no one to deliver the meat. I was to wait until the next day for my delivery of meat - which I might say is frozen . Would you accept this service? No. Will never use this company again and would not recommend them to anybody.
