Dogs are Family. we offer dog walking, pet sitting and day care for your pooch. cuddles, play and fun are part of a day at Doonhamer Dogs .

My name is Tina, i am 39 years old and originally from Germany. I have worked with animals as a carer in boarding kennels and rescue centers.

I am very active in local rescue and also work with and for many charities . I foster, carry out homechecks, transport dogs to their new home and spend generally a huge amount of time on anything animal related.

I am married to Arthur who is equally nuts about animals and between the two of us we are now offering dog walking and personal pet sitting. From the end of May 2015 we will also be able to offer DOGGIE DAY CARE - Think kindergarten with paws! : ) . We pick your dog up and drop off . The day care takes place in our home and involves at least one long walk, access to the garden all day, socialising, play, cuddles and quiet time : )



Before you decide to let me walk or sit your animal, you can get to know me of course free of charge and ask questions and tell me about your animal and what you would like us to do.

We only work with a reward system and never put any pressure on any animal. We believe in patience and letting the animal tell us how far we can go. Affection is a must and is given in abundance - we just love dogs so much, try and stop us!

Please be aware that we only accept dogs for day care or boarding after a trial day, so make sure you book well in advance.


Any questions, feel free to ask. It is our aim to make sure your animal has a home from home and enjoys its time with us. We are also in touch with a great grooming service we are happy to recommend. Should we not be able to offer your chosen date, we are offering to put you in touch with another trusted animal service we have personally been using for our 3 for some time.

Prices are just a guide line and nothing is set in stone as some dogs may only manage a wee walk due to age or health.

In general we charge
£ 10- an hour for sitting the pet at your home and no more than £ 45- for overnight stays at your home.

Dog walks are generally £ 8- for one dog per hour and £ 15. - for 2 dogs.

Doggie day care will be £ 15. - for one dog per day and £ 25. - for 2 dogs.
