We stay here whenever we are going out in Glasgow. We are always made to feel special and very welcome. The staff are always so friendly and very helpful. Hotel is in a great location. We are now part of the Hilton honours club because we love staying here so much.

Was here for the rangers fc player of the year awards .



Can understand how hectic it must have been but the room was oerfrct staff were friendly .

This hotel was amazing. Staff are so helpful and cheerful as you enter the hotel. It's really close to the city centre and not out the way. Really clean and in an immaculate condition. We only stayed for one night but i would stay for more the next time. Will definitely be going back to stay. Really recommend this hotel to anyone.

Lovely hotel - let us check in at 12pm when it said 3pm on the booking! Warm cookies on arrival (and extras later!) lovely beds, amazing pillows, soft towels, good powerful shower, friendly staff!

I’ve stayed at a lot of Doubletrees and Hilton’s with work and can honestly say I’ve never met friendlier staff. I was staying with my nieces who are 12 and 6 and it was a bday treat for my niece turning into a teenager and the staff could not have been any better at making them feel special. They got extra cookies at check in, the pool staff were so welcoming and everyone was just so helpful and made them feel at home. My girls had a ball and didn’t want to leave this morning! The room was perfect, spotless and they asked if we could do it again next year. So massive thanks and well done to all your staff. 😀😀😀

I won a facebook competition �It was dinner for 2 in the hotel restaurant last night then a taxi to the Kings and tickets for Titanic the musical! What an amazing night from start to finish! I have never met such friendly staff in a hotel ever, every single person we met couldn't have been nicer and made us feel so welcome! The food was incredible, can honestly say its the nicest fish I have ever tasted � we also got a glass of wine included! The show was brilliant I loved it and we had great seats! Thank you again for such an amazing prize will definitely be booking a room and staying soon and will be in the restaurant again �x

I phoned the hotel to ask if I could send down my elf on the self so they could set him up in our room for us arriving . This was no problem and each member of staff I spoke to was more than happy to help ! The look on my girls faces and the screams of excitement were priceless � thank you to everyone who took the time to make this happen . In my eldest daughters words ‘ I am so happy right now !’ X

I attended the National Heroes Awards 2018. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. The food at the event was also very nice and well presented. All in all was a great night.

Had a lovely day at this hotel. Location is perfect for shops, theatres, restaurants & cinema. Spent time using the pool, jacuzzi & sauna which was perfect. Our room was spacious & clean and the beds were very comfortable, Tea & coffee making facilities were a nice extra. All staff we encountered were professional and helpful. We would definitely stay at this good value for money hotel again.

Arrived at hotel, to be greeted by Michael, very friendly and very efficient. Reception check in made all the better by being given complimentary cookies - delicious.

Great room, travelled with my daughter for uni open day and were allocated a room with 2 double beds - very comfy.

Had a relaxing drink in very cosy bar and enjoyable meal in the Brisket restaurant.

All staff were very polite and welcoming.

Also great location for shopping.

Would definitely stay here again.

While stranded in the snow we stayed for 2 nights. Everything about the room was great. The bed was the comfiest we had been in. Considering they had very little staff they did a great job. We waited a while for dinner but both meals were lovely when they arrived. Well done!

Rooms clean & beds very comfortable. Reception staff excellent, very helpful. Disappointed with breakfast, fruit juice has all been watered down to the extent it tastes of nothing.Eggs were rock hard & tomatoes barely cooked. Room facilities seem to have deteriorated too. Have stayed in Hilton including doubletree both here & abroad & have always been happy but not this time & quite honestly giving me a warm chocolate chip cookie doesn't make up for the dumbing down of services.

I stayed here with my sister , granddaughter & niece for my nieces 18th birthday. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Staff were so friendly, room was beautiful and spotless, pool jacuzzi everything was great . Food excellent , after we booked out they let us leave car in Car park while we went shopping. Defo be back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍

To be fair the room is lovely but cold we had to ask for heaters!! Good reception staff, however the restaurant staff not so, cashing up whilst we were waiting for our main course and to top it off the waiter asked if we were still waiting on something, when we said we were leaving we were told the kitchen was very busy - did we mention we were the only two in the restaurant! Went to bed hungry after a very long journey we are Booked for two nights will not be dining here tomorrow! Restaurant Manager did her best the next day to make up for the poor service and was very pleasant!

Works Xmas party & crammed in like sardines doesn’t even come close. Disappointed in food (turkey roll & no cranberry), staff under too much pressure & a def safety issue if an escape was necessary. Band was great but hard to hear over the crowds of people. Not much grand for a Grand Ball Room. Def all about making money rather than customer satisfaction.

Whole experience from trying to book, customer service or rather lack of, and food very poor.

As in my Tripadvisor review I will stick with another hotel in the chain who offer a far better experience. Wouldn’t use this hotel again.

I have just spent 16 minutes on the phone from Australia to the UK trying to book a room with one of your call centre employees. She was unhelpful, very difficult to understand and she basically told me to book through a third party website if it was cheaper. The whole reason I called the Hilton Group of hotels direct was to eliminate dealing with a third party provider and deal directly with your company. When I asked the employee to call me back as I was calling the UK from Australia, she told me that the call centre could not and would not make any out going calls to customers. Hence, the one star review for Doubletree by Hilton Glasgow Central - it really should not have to be this difficult in booking a hotel room for two nights in April...especially when i'm trying to pay you almost $500 for the privilege. Very poor customer skills and no empathy whatsoever. Overall a very poor experience and one i'm actually quite surprised with as I thought the Hilton Group were better than this.

Average hotel.......just don’t stay if they have a function on for 900 people....the noise was reverberating around the room until 12.30a.m. Absolutely no consideration for guests staying in hotel that had to get up at 6 o’clock in the morning to go on tour. Worst ever night !
