Doubletree By Hilton Hotel Edinburgh Airport

Let us check in early after a long haul flight. Spatious room. Comfy bed!!! Breakfast could be better for the money. Eg. Provide warm French pastries and warm pancakes....

I have stayed here many times but this was the first time under the new brand of Double Tree, previously a Hilton. I was welcomed by a nice young chap on the front desk who said “Double tree is better cos you get a cookie” which I did for free.. a very nice warm chocolate one. He under sells the changes though. The hotel has had what looks like a lot of work done. Rooms are much better, cleaner and have new beds which are very comfortable. Didn’t use the spar on this occasion so I can’t comment... the breakfast was also great :). Amazing service really friendly staff great hotel for a stop off for Edinburgh or a layover.

Thanks place was clean and nice and location was incredibly convenient. I walked to the airport in ~10 minutes though they do have a frequent shuttle. Our room on the first floor was great, and the hotel gladly kept our bags all day before check-in.

Stayed at the hotel twice as part of a work trip. Excellent cookie on arrival. 10 minute work from Edinburgh airport. Clean big rooms and helpful staff. Brilliant breakfast.

Pretty much all you need for a room. Spacious, clean with tea and coffee facilities. Couple of issues; 1. £200 for a room with breakfast, very steep and not worth what they all price wise. 2. Locked TV, therefore cannot use Chromecast, hotels really need to open up this flexibility.

Location and convenience are it's main attractors, but its in no way exceptional. High quality is to be expected, but decor clearly looks like it came from a factory line. You could defiantly get something more Scottish if you were looking for a holiday. Fine for meetings and conferences.

Big rooms, has a pool and a hreat lounge bar (Starbucks) and literally a 2 minute bus ride from the airport. Alao rigjt opposite thw car rental returns, one can walk to the hotel from there.

Comfy rooms, nice breakfast ideal if you need a place to stay near the airport or if you want to stay out of the town centre.

Great location if using Edinburgh airport. There's a free regular shuttle service to airport (from long stay parking, I presume).
Rooms are large and cosy. Mine had poor Wi-Fi connectivity, but they said they'll fix it. The TV system is old but they said they'll change it. Gym and parking is available, but parking is only free for first 15 minutes. I used Edinburgh airport's long start parking that I booked online for a much better deal. Do check out their website: you may get better deals than through other websites.
