Hi,
I am a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor. I retired from the Police Service with 15 years Traffic Department experience and I am now delivering driving tuition through my own independent driving school.

For complete beginners I offer an introductory block of 10 hours of lessons for £200, when prepaid prior to commencement of the first lesson, and thereafter I charge £220 for subsequent blocks of 10 hours. My standard hourly non-discounted rate is £24 per hour.

What a hero for putting up with me for the past 10 weeks. Having little experience driving and put off because of another bad instructor, Dougie has totally turned me into a confident driver and actually made me had faith in myself. Couldn't thank you enough for having faith and being so patient with me and those manoeuvers � and putting up with my constant talking! Theeee best instructor ever , 3rd instructor and defo the best , the most patient person ever as he put up with endless lessons of parallel parking �� & passed with a parallel park , cannot recommend this guy enough , 10//10 ����

Our son passed first time, last month. He is a confident young driver, sensible and very safe. Our friends children were also taught with Dougie and they are also confident , safe drivers.
We would rate Dougie as an excellent instructor, he not only teaches his pupils but he instils an awareness of safety and good driving practice in them, a perfect start!
My son passed his test first time within four months of one lesson a week.
Excellent instructor has taught him to drive properly and safely as well as getting him through his test.

Moved to Dougie from a previous instructor and could not have made a better decision! Dougie built up my confidence so quick and spent so much time with me making sure I felt at ease, also managed to fit everything around my schedule which was amazing! Could not fault him at all! Excellent driving instructor, I would highly recommend. I started my lessons at the end of July - having never so much as sat in the driver's seat before - and passed my test in December. He has an endless amount of patience and knows exactly how to deal with nerves and anxiety. I was never made to feel daft - no matter how many times I put on the windscreen wipers instead of the indicator. I'd still be doing 5mph round the industrial estate just now if it wasn't for Dougie - thank you!
