Wouldn't send our cat anywhere else, delighted to have found this place. Jan is an absolute star, and goes above and beyond. Our cat left his favourite toy behind and it was kindly hand delivered home for him (25 mile trip). Can't rate the service highly enough.

Socks stayed while we got married and she was absolutely fine, it was her first stay in a cattery and she will be back!! Thank you so much Jan for looking after Socks. 5 star accommodation for our moggy. ��

Rogue has stayed her twice now and is obviously loved, as are all the cats. Jan goes out of her way to make them feel at home. A special thanks this time for Jan's being able to juggle a full cattery in order to keep our wee Rogue on an extra week when I was taken into hospital on holiday. Many thanks Jan and we'll hopefully see you again in May.

Our 4 cats go in quite a lot while wee go off on holidays........they love it with their auntie Jan, she knows them inside out and looks after them just the way they like it.

Left our OAP Persian cat here for his first time in a cattery for 5 days.



Jan was lovely when I booked, showed me around and put me totally at ease leaving him. When I came to collect him he was cozied up sleeping in his blankets and has settled straight back in at home so he has obviously been relaxed and well looked after on his holidays at Dovecote!



Lovely big pens for the cats to stay in and both indoor and outdoor pens are spotless, bright and modern.



Very happy leaving Tiny Bob here and he is going back in a few weeks for his next holiday �

Just wanted to say thank you for the excellent care given to our cat on her first visit to Dovecote Cattery. Usually she is quite stressed afterwards and can take a while to settle but she was absolutely fine when we got her home. So glad we found you 😍

Jan looked after my two Ragdoll babies for 10 days. Cattery is spotless and all cats well cared for. Each is lavished with attention, fed, groomed and medical needs no problem. Very happy customer. Thanks again, Jan! Will definitely be back should we need your services in future.

I left my cat beebee here while I moved house! I can't recommend dovecote enough! She was very well looked after and she had plenty of space.

Excellent cattery in the Scottish Borders! Our fur baby loves it so much we don't take her anywhere else even though we no longer live in the Borders! Loving, caring, attentive...safe! Total peace of mind that Fleur is in brilliant hands when we're away. Highly recommend this cattery.
