Downing College Cambridge Conferences & Functions

Downing College offers a superb conference centre and flexible meeting facilities in the heart of Cambridge.

Licensed for civil ceremonies, we can cater for up to 120 guests in the Howard Building or up to 40 in the West Lodge. The college lawns and gardens are ideal for summer drinks receptions and you have a choice of dining locations from the grand classical College Hall to the smaller intimate rooms of the West Lodge. You may carry on into the evening with bar facilities in both the Hall and the Howard Building.

We offer a special Downing College Wedding Package. Alternatively, if your numbers do not meet the minimum requirements we would be happy to tailor make a bespoke Wedding Package to suit your needs.

You will have the services of a dedicated wedding coordinator to guide you through the planning and details of your special day who will be committed to making this your day to remember offering a friendly but professional service.
