Emma Sharpe is owner and founder of Dragonfly Drama and is a registered Dramatherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC: AS12606) and a full member of the British Association of Dramatherapist’s (BADTh). She has a Masters and Post Graduate Diploma in Dramatherapy, MA in Psychology and NC in Performing Arts. Emma also works as a youth drama and theatre practitioner and training facilitator. With over 15 year’s professional experience working in the Public, Third and Private sector’s, she has worked extensively with children, young people and adults. Emma is experienced in facilitating both group and individual dramatherapy.

Emma also has many years experience facilitating youth drama, directing for musical theatre and devising new drama.

Emma promotes collaboration with other artist’s, therapists, clinicians and academics. Research includes the use of fairytales as a means of communication for children with life limiting illness.

Emma’s passions include drama, theatre and people, in all their many shapes and forms! Emma strives to enable access to the Arts for everyone, so we can all benefit from the inclusive, transformative and creative opportunities available.
