On a Friday in Glasgow - a collection of musicians get together to try out new music. Collaborative spirit, creative thinking and lots of problem-solving skills on display - music of the future. Thanks to Rhona Smith and Clare Johnston for visiting, also to Oliver Iredale Searle and all at Royal Conservatoire of Scotland for a really energising week! We took video so will post it ASAP!

‪Great to have Andy Bruce with us today showing us the CRDL, what a beautiful, tactile and fantastic thing it is! We’d love to explore how we could incorporate this into our work. (It’s also very good at making chicken sounds on our Artistic Director’s nose!) 🐓

Thinking of Amy Moar today. Dearly missed friend of so many people and a wonderful musician. Delighted that her friend and musical collaborator Rhona Smith will be performing some of Amy's music with her laptop technology at an Edinburgh Fringe Festival Concert with the Clarsach Society this August - we will confirm details soon. Here's a picture of Amy playing her Clarsach with Rhona on Digital Harp

Humbling and admirable charity work for people of all different capabilities, though some people may not see how tutoring music to people with disabilities helps when compared to some other charitable causes, if you had ever seen the effect a little live music, singing and getting them involved too has on people suffering from severe forms of autism for example, who can not communicate or express themselves, or someone who is blind and unable to speak. If you could see the change that takes place in them when a little music is introduced to them you would back this charity without question. Please give these good people a like and share as their work is changing the lives of so many people with such a simple thing, long may they continue! Music is the meaning of life :D
